Great Hotel - Relaxing Stay
We stayed at this property for 2 nights and had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the jacuzzi added a wonderful touch, giving us a real sense of calmness and happiness. The spa was excellent, and we really enjoyed both the treatment and the steam room.
Breakfast was delicious, and the peaceful atmosphere made the whole experience even better.
We will definitely come back again.

Our “deluxe” room is the opposite of photos on booking!
Two bath towels for 4, no glass in the bathroom, or others for that matter! aging room, very bad soundproofing (simple glazing, very dirty! ),
Cleaning neglected!
Swimming pool and jacuzzi do not inspire confidence, tuft of hair in the pool!
Gym consisting of two machines in a corridor leading to the rooms!!!!!!!
Breakfast ridiculous, bad!
This hotel is very far from a 4*!!!!

Scammers
We had booked 3 rooms based on the information provided by the booking department of Beach and Bliss. However, upon arrival, we found that the details shared with us were completely misleading.
The rooms allotted to us are interconnected, which was never disclosed during the booking process. More importantly, the rooms are in an extremely poor and unhygienic condition, making them unfit for our stay. This is far below the standards that were promised and represented to us at the time of booking.
As the accommodation provided is not as advertised and is unacceptable, we are unable to stay at the property. We have immediately raised this concern, yet our request for a refund is being denied.
We request a full refund of the amount paid, as the hotel has failed to provide the accommodation and services that were promised at the time of booking.

Great location. Friendly staff. While it looks clean there are corners and spots of lack of hygiene. Also when u ask for room cleaning they only do the bed. They don’t clean the bathrooms or replace glasses or clean the room. The make shift gym was also very dirty and I had to ask them multiple times to clean it. The jacuzzi while I seen the worker clean it- I didn’t think it was clean enough. Also while breakfast is included in the package- 1 morning we were told there is no buffet and we had to order whatever we wanted from eggs and Indian dosas. While overall a good place and staff are helpful - would expect more for what we pay for

Very Disappointed.
Property is poorly managed. Pet dogs (3 in total) are seen drinking water from the pool. Bathrooms are filled with Ants. and very very small toilet/bathroom so that you can't even stand properly. Pool filtering system does not work and staff did not start despite asking for it.
Travel desk is poorly managed. For a Uber ride of 800 LKR, they were asking for 1600 LKR for booking from the front desk.
Restaurant and food is good. Staffs are nice.
Rooms are comfortable and spacious.
Overall, this was not worth the money.

Regarding transport, Uber and PickMe are often cheaper because they usually charge for one-way travel only. Local tuk-tuks may charge slightly more as they also consider their return journey. We sometimes support local village drivers who depend on these hires to support their families, but we clearly state that we do not take any commission from them. We also encourage all guests to check and agree on the price before starting any ride.
Regarding the dogs, there are a few stray dogs around the area. They are not our pets, but we do look after them humanely and have vaccinated them for guest safety. That said, dogs drinking from the pool is not acceptable, and we sincerely apologize. We have already assigned staff to prevent this from happening, and after your comments we will review this process again more strictly.
As for ants, being in a tropical beachfront environment, complete prevention can sometimes be difficult. However, we carry out regular pest-control treatments to minimize such issues. We are sorry that this affected your bathroom experience.
With regard to the bathroom size, most guests find our rooms and bathrooms suitable, but we understand that your experience was different. Since we cannot identify your room, we are unable to check the exact issue, but your concern is noted.
We are pleased to hear that you found the restaurant and food good, the staff nice, and the rooms comfortable and spacious. Thank you for recognizing those positives.
