Paradise in Sri Lanka

A great place to stay for several days if you love beach and good food. The gardens of this paradise are well cared for and at the same time feel very natural. Staff are helpful and friendly. You are in a few steps on the beautiful beach. Definitely recommended.

Beautiful view.

We got the best cabanas very close to the beach about 20 m away from the beach and can hear the ocean sound through out saw the sunrise from the room it self...Though there was no AC we were comfortable.
We stayed for two nights 3 days the breakfast was good but rest of the meals they didn't have saying it is off season and we have to go searching for places.

Little piece of paradise

We have chosen the Cabana superior with sea view . It eats clearly that due to the construction you don't really
climatic or noise-free separation to the very nice well-kept garden has . Fauna and sea are clearly audible (but there are closed alternatives in the resort ) If you adjust to it you have Indiana Jones feeling - I liked it .
It was clean but the linen did not smell fresh due to the high humidity.
The beach right in front of it is not private (very good for the locals to earn something ) there are small beach bars with sun loungers , which are free you eat or drink a little something for it .
The food at the hotel is good and the staff all very accommodating.

To avoid

Booking made via booking, in which we are advertised a room of 52 m2 with views of the beach.
Tempting.
Well, no. Only 3 bungalows are close to the beach, the rest are in a park. The 52 m2, let’s not talk about it.
The chalets are outdated, the bedding was new too long ago, and the structure of the buildings means that everyone has access to them: mosquitoes, squirrels, dogs. Including in your rooms. Wifi does not work despite 3 requests.
Breakfast is not authentic. Laundry service is punctual to within one night. Meals are tasteless.
The setting is pretty but everything else is to be taken back. Choose another address.

Nice quiet resort with wildlife

A lovely place with kids. We had 5 nights in Tangelle at this hotel. We stayed in villa 1 and had a great stay. Lots of tranquility and wildlife and very close to the beach. In fact there is water-view from the villa. The staff was really friendly and we got a very flexible check-out time when we were going home.
The pool itself was also lovely. The beach is nice but beware of waves and underwater with children.
The restaurant at the pool has great food! The selection is not the largest, but the availability is the delicious raw materials and good service.
The villa was large and lovely, but could well use such a closer head cleaning if we were to point to something.
The reception area could also well handle a renovation, it looks pretty dark and a little worn out.
But we give 5 stars for we missed nothing and had a really nice holiday here.
