Oasis in paradise

This is our second time staying at Beach view and it gets better each time living amongst the most beautiful gardens that are maintained superbly
The rooms are stunning we stayed in a kabana as well as villa and both were exceptional and so very clean we love how you have access to drinking water in a tap in the garden so very handy to fill your bottles
The staff are just simply the best they will bend over backwards to help any needs you may have everyone speaks English well which really helps
The owner Thanuja is such a wonderful man and treats us like family
I recommend anyone going to Arugambay to definitely stay at this paradise oasis ❤️

We had the most amazing time at Beach view our room was so very spacious and super comfortable bed. This is a family run business and they are all so very helpful and the nicest people you could ever meet. The staff there are so friendly and nothing is to much trouble. The restaurant was the best from homemade delicious curries to a beautiful breakfast I honestly could not fault this place and we were lucky enough to spend 4 weeks there we will be returning next year. Also the location is also perfect. Thankyou Thanuja (owner) for making our time at Arugum Bay so perfect

Great place to stay

This place was unreal value for money. The staff are amazing, will do anything to keep you happy. Complimentary breakfast every morning was good. The accommodation is basic but delightful, will definitely book back there

Nothing good about hotel, but staff

We were so disappointed with the hotel. Went there with family and book rooms and cabanas. Everything was so dusty and old. Some cockroaches around the cabanas and bathroom wasn't clean. We had to spend some time cleaning the rooms.
It was only for one night, so we decide to stay. Otherwise we would never stay there. But staff was really good and try to help us lot. 5 star for the staff but nothing good about hotel. Below picture is fan in my room. We never expected something like this.

Perfect place to stay !!

Excellent place ! The bungalows are very confortable. We've spend 4 nights in a Luxury one (with AC and hit water) : they are perfect and new. And the last night we were in a Normal one (no AC and cold shower) : they are perfectly fine, with good fans over the bed and frankly how needs hot water in Arugam Bay ??
The staff (a family) is charming, relaxed but efficient. The breakfast is OK (eggs, coffee and juice). They are very helpful if you want them to arrange something.
And the garden is lovely, very relaxing with hammocks and a shower.
Now the best parts :
The hotel is literally 30 meters from the sea. It's location is ideal : next to Main point/Mamboo's (main surfing spot) and very close to all the cool spots/restaurants in Arugam Bay (The Hideaway, The Siam View, The Seahorse (pizza !!!), etc.)
And last but not least a very cool homemade ping pong table. The best.
