Quiet stay in paradise

Dasun and his family have created a lush tropical haven. The rooms are beautifully done and the outdoor bathrooms are stunning, we could have sat outside our hut forever just watching the wildlife . Only a 2 minute walk into the busy street but you feel as if you are in a jungle retreat . We ate both nights we stayed and make sure you are hungry as the portions are plentiful , the chicken fried rice with accompaniments was my favourite. Dasun also organised our safaris which was excellent and our onward transport .

Great safari tour

We only did the Safari tour with a guide from this place. Charidh guided us perfectly through Udawalawa. He had the right intuition where to go next to find the best places. We saw one of the elephants with tusks, two families, one even with a very young baby elephant. And of course many more wonderful animals. He explained very well and drove us safely through the park.
Thanks Charidh, we really enjoyed the tour with you!

Worst stay ever

Nice Location but totally disappointed about the service.Food is quite OK.There service is very poor.
They took one hour to prepare room and it was not clean.An ants are every ware in the bathroom.hot Water shower was not functions and complain abut it.mechanic came after few hours and replace the unit. It was same and not worked properly.
Till 9 am they haven’t prepare our breakfast.Total cottage was untidy and they are not maintaining it properly.
But the location was beautiful.
Never recommend this pace to anyone.

You should not miss it

Unfortunatly we've just spent one night in this beautiful little paradise- but after this great experience, we will definitely come back. The owners are extraordinary polite and supportive in any way. Food is typically Sri Lankan and delicious. Rooms are very nice and clean. We'd also recommend you to do the morning safari with one of the owners friends. He was doing his best to make this experience unique. Thanks again and warm regards!

Out of the ordinary and great

Beautiful place with really friendly and great people. The food is consistent and delicious.
The boss is a charming man and very concerned about his customers.
We inaugurated the new Cottage/Cabin and it was very good: bathroom that is out of the ordinary and waterfall to wash!!!!
