Location a 10

Very beautiful and good location, we were the only guests. The good was good. The personal had not much to do and hanging around. A pitty because there is a lot of lack of cleaning and maintenance to do. A simply srew driver in the room and a mop on the indoor stairs would change a lot. The shower is broken. On arrival we got the room with a broken shower, why ? All the room are empty?
The pool is nice and the garden too. Lot of flies on the breakfast table. Please change the attitude of the workers Ang get it fixed, because the location is amazing.

Great hospitality @ Udawalawa

This is a fantastic Nature resort in amazing surrounding. very attentive serviced by tthe team . We had a garden view family room. Fabulous friendly staff. Rooms are Clean and well equipped. Very well maintained, friendly staff and delicious home feel food prepared to our requirement by Executive chef Udagama.
Thank you resort manager and the entire team for great hospitality
I would recommend this nature resort to anyone.

Hotel in connection with safari.

Ok hotel in connection with safari, but happy that we only had to be there 1 day.
The rooms were clean and neat.
Power disappeared several times, only in our room, due to defective “card” holder for air conditioning/electricity. However, the staff was nice to come and try to fix it.
Would not recommend the hotel for families with children as they serve buffet for lunch,with few dishes. They have an ala carte menu where for lunch you can only get sandwiches and pomegranates and fried noodles, despite the fact that the card contained 50+ dishes.
Loud music in connection with holding a party at the hotel, so loud that the windows shaken.
The pool seemed a little unclear and turbid.

Great location and good facilities.

Great location for the nature reserve and good facilities. The staff are friendly and helpful. The accommodation and facilities are clean and reasonably well maintained. The swimming pool is clean and safe, and a great place to watch monkeys swinging through the surrounding trees!

Awful place to stay AVOID

Stayed here for two nights as part of a tour, and complained to the tour operator after the first hour of being here. Cobwebs in the bedroom, soup for a pool, pictures of elephant torture in the dining room, tasteless and cold food, and staff who did not want to have you there. This was by far the worst place I have ever stayed. The only good things were a large garden to see birds and monkeys and the proximity to Udawalawa National park. If I could give 0 stars I would.
