Nice and easy. Great location. With love from Pakistan

Great stay. Near city centre. Neat and clean. Easy to move around. Free tasty breakfast. With love from Pakistan. Clean toilets. Big place so plenty of space to sit back and relax. Really helpful family as a host.

Lovely family hotel/hostel

I was on the way to another place when I passed Yellow hostel, and went in. Beautiful inside and outside. Nice people, and a the daughter who was in reception spoke a perfect English. This helped me lot. Centrally located. I really enjoyed staying there

Pleasant stay

I enjoyed my time at the Yellow Hostel. It has a very pleasant, cozy, family atmosphere and staff is very helpful. I've stayed almost a week and every day the breakfast was cooked personally, with different dishes every day. I also slept well. Beds are comfortable and the room quiet.

Clean and comfortable rooms but expensive compared to other hostels.

We stayed for three nights at the Yellow Hostel in Dushanbe. Rooms are very clean and spacious, the beds are really comfortable and the AC is working properly. We were allowed to park our car inside and the staff was very helpful, though, not always available. We sometimes had to wait 10-15 min in the lobby before they show up.
The breakfast wasn't really good and shared showers were uncomfortable.
I would recommend this hostel for its clean rooms and friendly staff, though, you should negotiate the price. We paid 30$/night for two people but we should have paid 20$/night.

Neue Crew oder nur neue Namen?

Zugegeben, es ist schon einigeZeit her, dass ich im Yellow Hostel übernachtete und möglicherweise hat die crew gewechselt. Damals bestand sie aus einer netten, englisch sprechenden Tochter, die alles hervorragend managte, während ihre Eltern nur irgendwie auf den Sofas rumhingen, und der Tochter versuchten beizubringen, wie das Hotelgewerbe funktioniert - so etwas macht mich wütend, vor allem, da es nichts, aber auch gar nichts Dank der ungemein aufmerksamen Tochter zu bemängeln gab.
Zum Hotel selber und seiner Pflege gab es nichts zu bemängeln, ebenso war der Preis in Ordnung (es sei gesagt, dass Hotel-Übernachten in Dushanbe nicht gerade günstig sind, bzw. dass man lange suchen muss um etwas ordentliches zu erträglichem Preis zu finden. Das Yellow Hostel, das seinerzeit noch Yeti Hostel hieß ("yellow" passt besser, denn Yetis sind in Dushanbe eher selten) gehörte zu den guten günstigen (ich kenne dort auch andere…) und hoffe, dass es bei meinem nächsten Besuch noch die gleiche Qualität zeigt.
Nur weiss man nicht, unter welchem der vielen Namen man das Hostel suchen soll, denn es gibt da noch weitere: Neben Yellow und Yeti Hostel kursiert es im internet auf Karten zusätzlich unter Panda Hostel …
