4 days of pure happiness with friends in Ouvéa paradise

A huge congratulations to the whole team for this wonderful stay.
The very friendly staff. The bungalows are beautiful and the bedding comfortable. The meals were delicious and hearty
the equally impeccable welcome. Special mention for Director Thomas who does his best to please his clients.
We will gladly return

To encourage!!

Hotel a little aging certainly, but a great team. The manager and his team are very attentive and welcoming.
Breakfast is simple but varied (pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt...).
The meals are very good and hearty; the restaurant strives to vary the menus and adapt despite the lack of customers and staff.
Very pleasant stay in Ouvéa, with a warm welcome from the locals.

Lack of maintenance

Hotel is starting to age really badly.
The crisis in NEW CALEDONIA has gone through and the lack of tourists and staff makes this felt. Barely 10 guests but therefore a very friendly welcoming and smiling staff
However the pool is very well maintained. We eat well at lunch and in the evening the location is ideal.
Cons... the breakfasts not hearty enough, the lack of maintenance facilities.

Not worth the price at all

I am sorry to say it is backpackers standard for 5* Star price…. It is not fair at all - the price absolutely does not meet the quality.
Beach and lagune is absolutely beautiful, staff is kind and helpful but the hotel is ruined and desperetly needs an investments and management.. I apprevciate deeply efforts but feel just cheated.

Hotel in ruins and poorly maintained

The paradise of Ouvea is at the end of its life... The rooms, the hall, the alleys are to be renovated. Very very very inadequate staff even during the Christmas holidays or tourism has resumed. Breakfast is catastrophic (no fruit!!). The cleaning is almost non-existent (passage once for 3 nights booked , no cleaning, partial change only of sheets and not of the good ones!: we were put 2 small sheets as cover sheet on a large bed and deposit in a corner of the room a sheet from the top to bed a person!! ). Coffee in the rooms is unusable because more beans but compact and solid in its bag! The restaurant really makes good food at a reasonable price. The view of the bungalows is incredible and makes you forget the inconveniences a little bit. It would be enough to employ a few staff and move them to make things better without spending too much (blowing leaves from driveways, cleaning stains on walls, putting back batteries for safes, repairing shaky boards). The value for money is very bad. Either they have to renovate, maintain, clean, move to keep the asking price, or radically lower the price to match it to a hotel without any stars. In both cases the client would not feel cheated.
