A serene business retreat.

I've stayed at Christina House Arusha several times now, and it’s truly become a favorite of mine. This place has such a special charm, it's tucked away just outside the city, so you get a peaceful retreat from the noise, yet it’s close enough that you can easily pop into town whenever you need to.
What I love about Christina House is the ambiance. It’s like a cozy haven that makes you feel right at home. The facilities are excellent, and the overall vibe is both relaxing and welcoming. Mornings here are something else...you might wake up to the stunning sight of Mount Meru, and the chirping of a variety of birds adds a touch of natural beauty that’s hard to beat.
Even though my most recent visit was for business, I couldn’t help but think how perfect this place would be for tourists as well. It’s an ideal spot to unwind after a day of exploring Arusha. Plus, I never had any concerns about safety during my stay, which is always a relief.
If you’re heading to Arusha, I wholeheartedly recommend Christina House. It’s a wonderful blend of comfort, tranquility, and convenience. Whether you’re here for work or for pleasure, it’s a place that makes you feel like you’ve found a little slice of paradise.

Do Not Stay Here – Rude Owner and Threats

I booked and PAID for a Deluxe Double Room but was given a basic room. The photos shown online are of the deluxe rooms, but in reality, they also have basic rooms and that’s what I was assigned, then lying that I didn't want to stay in the room I booked and stay with other group, Why would I pay more money not stay in nicer room? On top of that, the next morning the shower leaked and flooded the bathroom and bedroom, there was no hot water for the entire stay, and the water pressure was extremely low. When I complained, instead of offering help, the owner was rude and even threatened to sue me if I wrote an honest review. I found this behavior very unprofessional and intimidating – no guest should feel threatened by a property owner.

Hello Trip Advisor members and uses. I am so disappointed with this untrue review which was written buy the customer who was so rude and she did not want to pay the rate because she said the rate was different compared to Agoda and Expedia . She book with Booking .com.

Horrible experience

I’m giving one simply because it’s not possible to give zero to this place. During my stay at this establishment, money was stolen from my wallet, which I had left in the room while I was having breakfast. This happened to me and two other friends hosted in a different room. Highly not recommended.

Thanks very much for the review you wrought . I am very sorry to hear that you lost the money in my property. Frankly speaking , this is the first time to hear the story like that. Unfortunately you did not inform he management . I am not sure that you lost the money at Christina House . Secondly , I advise you to double check your luggage before checking out. I think this is a cooked story

Theft in structure

During my stay, money was stolen from my locked room while I had breakfast.
The night before I had counted my money and the next day after leaving the hotel I noticed that I am missing 400 euros.
Be very careful if staying at this property, it is not at all safe

A welcoming and peaceful oasis

I stayed Christina’s 7 years with a friend on our first trip to the Serengeti and loved it then, so it was a great surprise from our guide to return to this beautiful oasis at the end of a second trip with more friends. The rooms are simple, comfortable and spotless, the food is still fresh and tasty, the gardens are even more lush and Christina and staff are so friendly and welcoming. And it’s so good that they support the local community - thank you Christina and everyone!
