6 Days Zanzibar Kiwengwa Beach
Awesome Trip !!!!.....Spend 6 days at Seacrest Beach Hotel , a quite beautiful hotel at the beach front. Clean and with a warm scenary. Food well prepared thanks to our Hostess Madam Doris ana Manager Gabriel.
The Road trip to Dar, was nice with various stop overs and wonderful scenery along the way !!!......beautiful landscape with banana plantation, Rice paddies.
A swim with the Dolphin , not forgeting the Blue Lagoon !!! what a sight !... crystal clear blue water !!!!!.....spectacular and memorable.
Visit to the Turtle centre and feeding , swimming with them was also awesome !!!.... and learned so much about the behaviourand life of a turtle.
Took the boat to the island , swam at the sandbath , which was quite amazing ,lunch was prepared (sea food : Lobster, Oyster and crab) what a feast !!! we had .
Last day ,a visit to the Spice Farm..where we experience different kinds of spices available within the island , very educative.
A memorable trip we had !!!!! ... Well Organized.

Rest in November
Hotel 3 stars. And yes, that's all you need to count on. It's real 3 stars. Numbers are far from new. If you're lucky, they'll give you a sea view, and if you're not, not poverty. The road to the sea may be close, but you need to walk up the stairs and through the slums. Same food for breakfast and dinner, sometimes something new was added. Food is included and you can eat, but if you're thirsty you'll have to pay separately! 2 0.3 ml bottles per day for two people. And that's all in a day!
Cooking food takes a very long time 40+ minutes. A couple of times we had dinners that took two hours. They apparently don't have billets, and they cook from scratch. It's nice to be fresh, but dinner takes a long time. Seafood was on the menu, which is a big plus. But it's usually an octopus. But the food was delicious!! Next to the hotel on the right in the nearby hotel you can also dine, and on the left there is an establishment where it is even cheaper to eat, but everywhere too long wait.
If you need water or something from the pharmacy have to go outside the hotel and walk about 2 km along the road. Toilet and shower adjacent, just put a tap in the middle of the toilet. And then the shower itself has very little pressure, in the next room of a friend he did not work at all, and after the renovation he worked only 24 hours. The tap water is like from the sea. Same salty. They give you shampoo and shower gel a day. It's enough. The pool is cleaned, but not often. A lot of insects. We were in November, but the weather was still great. The employees are very friendly. Always ready to help if you have to. On the whole, the rest was good for your money.

Great hotel
Great hotel. The grounds and the main building of the hotel are on the 2nd line, to the beach you have to go down the stairs and walk 20 meters past the houses of the locals. We lived in a new building that's right on the beach. The room is super, from 2 rooms - living room with kitchen, dishes, fridge, TV, armchair and sofa. The other is the bedroom. The room is new, we were the first guests in it. Two air conditioners, two ceiling fans. Bathrobes, slippers (changed to new ones after 5 days), rubber shower spanks. Cleaning is general every day, including washing dishes, shaking out sand from our slippers, coral and sneakers! Swans, jewelry, etc. Soap-and-snout gel d/shower, shampoo, tooth brush, toilet boom. Every day changing beds and towels, insect treatment. There are flies, great ants and mosquitoes, the latter few. The staff is great. We've been running around like scribbles. Any whim. The hotel is very clean, there were no consequences from eating at the restaurant. Everything's great. We had breakfasts and dinners. Feeding like slaughter, sometimes even skipping breakfast. For breakfast, freshly squeezed juices, eggs, toast, etc. as usual. When we arrived at the hotel, there were hardly any guests, and we were cooked individually like a la carte. Drinks are not included in the package for dinner. Octopuses, fish chicken, beef, pasta, pizza. The choice was always, the food is delicious and everything is always fresh, with heat. Con - uncomfortable sunbeds on the beach, absolutely no possibility to dry wet things. Just nowhere. Everything else is super, especially the staff. I recommend it.

Beautiful hotel
My husband and I were in early November 2023. Zanzibar is a complete relaxation!!! We're still in the throes of Kivengwa. The hotel and the staff are lovely. We dream of going there again. By the way, there's a lovely guy out there on the ocean coast named James, aka Bond. James Bond is a local guide. The responsible kid. You can go on various excursions with him and they will be cheaper than the guide assigned to the group. He's got Vatsap. His phone number is +255-672-568-263. He can speak Russian. If the phone gets blocked, ask any local James Bond on the coast, they'll find him.

Just incredibly terrible staff. Definitely not recommended
The hotel is not bad, but the hotel staff are simply terrible. Get ready to be ignored, laugh in your face, lay out dirty bed linen, if they don’t like it, how much money do you leave for them. The woman in black clothes at the reception at least decides government affairs: constantly on phone and simply ignores contacting her. She even refused to say her name, simply laughing in her face. They don’t speak Russian at the hotel, but there were no problems except for this strange madam, who for some reason was also hired at the reception. Many thanks to Vinnie from the reception. Always positive and always happy to help.
If the owner changes his approach to staff selection, then this hotel definitely has great potential.
