Nice and “local”

A budget hotel of a special kind. Nice and local. Very friendly people. Nice view. The menu in the restaurant was very manageable, but the food (rice, chicken or beef in delicious vegetable sauce). Breakfast was also special but great!

Clean Room, Refund Needed

A nice, beautiful stay in Lesotho. When we arrived, we were given the option of two rooms: one with two beds and another with an extra-large bed. I was a little bit confused since the booking was for a Junior Suite, which was supposed to include a living room and a separate bedroom, a bathroom with both a bath and shower, as well as a view of the garden.
I am not sure whether it was me not understanding the staff clearly or something else, but when I asked her, she said that such a room did not exist. Because we were so tired from a long drive, we decided to just stay. Thankfully, when I contacted customer service, mentioning that I believed I paid more than I should have for what I received, I got a partial refund.
Regardless, the room was clean and looked new. There was also warm water for showering. A restaurant was available on site. The food portions were large but took a long time to be prepared. There was some construction/renovation on site, and some materials were just laying around. The parking lot was not that big, and since the place was very popular, parking could be challenging. Additionally, the entrance road was a dirt road and was only wide enough for one car at a time, either going into or out of the accommodation.

Nice place in a green valley, Communication with the hotel is difficult

This place is in midst of green nature with nice views! Beautiful garden, clean rooms with what you basically need. Not too big but sufficient. The area of the valley and viewpoints is just out of the door. The only bad thing is communication via FB (no answer) or telephone (not working). No webpage available. So to do a booking is difficult... Hope the hotel will reply how it can work.

BEAUTIFUL SCENERY

I had a solo trip to the woods of Lushoto during the Easter break. My plan was to go hiking into the Magamba forest as well as hiking to see the Famous Kisasa waterfalls. I stayed here for three nights. It has such a beautiful scenery, Very budget friendly oh plus it comes with free breakfast. Had Zucchini soup though there is a couple of breakfast choices. The room had a balcony where you can sit and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Aileen was very helpful made my stay smooth. Also, it is very close to the city center. I would definitely stay here again If I'm ever in Lushoto.

Unpleasant stay

The water from tap and shower is brown. When reporting the problem to the staf, they say this is normal during rain season. No mosquito net although windows and door are not sealed.
Did not expect this kind of service for this price.
