Good hotel with a good price

For the price, this is a very good hotel. It has large rooms with a comfortable bed and mosquito netting. The shower had plenty of hot water. It is located in CBD but is quiet. The one deficiency is the breakfast. It is lackluster, especially with serving instant coffee. No fruit juice either.

Acceptable hotel for stopover

The hotel's location is often praised, with many guests appreciating its proximity to key areas in Morogoro. Several reviews highlight the friendly and welcoming staff. Some guests noted that the owner made an effort to make them feel at home, which contributed to a positive overall experience. The presence of amenities such as an outdoor swimming pool and small garden and bar was appreciated by many visitors. A number of reviews pointed out that the hotel is outdated and in need of renovation. A general lack of maintenance was mentioned. The quality and variety of breakfast options was criticised. Cleanliness and the state of the rooms were recurring concerns. Some guests felt that the rooms were not as clean as expected and noted that the décor and furniture felt old.
In June 2024, room 101 on the ground floor (1F) at the end of the corridor overlooking the pool and 12 huge satellite dishes. The room had a comfortable double bed with a very small duvet, television, good Wi-Fi reception, fan and air conditioning. The remote control of the air conditioner was missing, so the room was constantly cooled. The bathroom had a hot shower. The interior of the room was dated and needed maintenance. Cleaning could be improved. Not remarkable continental breakfast with few options was served in the restaurant.
The Oasis hotel has its problems with quality, cleanliness and maintenance, but it is an acceptable stopover hotel within African standards.

The best hotel in Tanzania

Easily one of the best hotels I've ever been to. Amazing experience, everything felt luxurious and the service was amazing. The owner is so friendly and really made me feel at home. 10/10 would visit again

Poor Management

The hotel is in a great location and has a very relaxed atmosphere, the major problem seems to be the management which does not take any effort to make any improvement. The hotel is outdated, everything feels antique. It seriously needs renovation.
The restaurant and breakfast was the worse, who serves french fries and noodles for breakfast? Toast machine was not working, no kettle for hot water and worse no teaspoons!

A little faded, but good value and relaxed atmosphere

Hotel Oasis is a little dated in decor and style, but the rooms are clean and the staff are very helpful - a little Swahili goes a long way if you want to connect. The location is very central, the Indian food is the best in Morogoro and the atmosphere is very relaxed. The pool is a great bonus, ask if you’d like a sun lounger and they can be provided.
