A wonderful home for two weeks

Me and the members of my W-Seminar stayed at the Rafiki Backpackers for two wonderful weeks. The rooms were comfortable and clean and same goes for the bathrooms. The Food was very delicious and high quality but what really stood out to me was the staff: they treated us with such friendlyness and an open heart, that we felt at home right from the start of our trip. I can only recommend staying at this place!

Friendly, cosy and generous

I had a wonderful time at Rafiki backpackers. The owner Alfred and his time were just amazing! Friendly, kind and generous, they made me feel so comfortable. The rooms, the meals and the overall services and facility were totally worth it. I would totally recommend Rafiki backpackers.

Just amazing

The stay at Rafiki Backpackers was truly amazing, not only because of the bautiful view from the rooftop terrace, but especially because of the extremely warm-hearted and friendly staff that always assured for best comfort.
The bathroom was clean, the WiFi good and the location just beautiful!

Kilimanjaro Summit Hike & 5-Days Safari

Alfred and his team have done an excellent job. They not only provide accommodation but also private Safari and Kilimanjaro Expeditions. Everyone is kind and helpful. In total a well recommended place to stay and central starting point to discover northern Tansania.

Great place to stay while you’re in Moshi.

We stayed at the backbackers for 2 weeks while we volunteered at a local school.
The room was spacious with comfortable beds and great hot showers.
The breakfast and cafe served really nice local dishes with good portions too.
The roof terrace had amazing views of Kilimanjaro. We could have stayed there all day.
The best bit? The staff.
The reception staff, Digna and Helen were amazing - they were friendly and super helpful. Francis in the bar was always so happy and is a great cook too.
Thank you everyone for making our stay so welcoming.
