More than hospitality...family
What a pleasure to stay at Blackstone Beach Resort. You are welcomed and treated like family and leave feeling you take a part of Zanzibar home with you. Friendliest staff,the most amazing food,and a general manager who is omnipresent and ensuring his guest's satisfaction.

Great silent place to have relax and good staing in Uroa.
I'm currently staying at this hotel. It's a cozy, new hotel where you feel truly at home. There are themed dinners in the evenings. Keto diet fans will also be happy. Mostly adults, with only a few children, which makes for a quiet and noise-free stay. The rooms are cleaned daily, and the service is friendly. I definitely recommend it and would gladly return next year. You can buy coconuts from the locals, book a tour, or buy practically anything. Security guards ensure vendors don't trespass on the hotel beach, which is about two meters above the beach and offers a beautiful view.

Great place to stay and get to know the real Zanzibar
Great location - close to everything.
The staff if very friendly,kind and helpful.
Rooms are nice,clean with everything you need.
I really appreciated that they knew how to make real espresso

We had a beautiful and deeply relaxing stay at this small beachfront hotel in Zanzibar, ideal for couples seeking comfort, privacy, and a calm atmosphere. The hotel is very well maintained, with a peaceful elegance throughout. The swimming pool is quiet, easy to unwind at any time of day.
There were plenty of comfortable sun beds available, both by the pool and directly on the beach, so relaxing was always effortless and never crowded.
One of the highlights of our stay was the ocean view. Waking up to the sound of the waves and watching the sunrise over the Indian Ocean from the hotel was truly special and added a romantic touch to every morning.
The food was excellent and changed daily, offering a lovely variety of cuisines. We especially enjoyed the fresh local fruits and natural juices, which were delicious, refreshing, and beautifully prepared — the perfect way to start the day.
The hotel is located directly on the beach, with immediate access to the sand and sea. Along the beach you can meet Maasai offering handmade crafts and browse small local shops, which adds an authentic Zanzibar character without taking away from the relaxed atmosphere.
It’s also easy to arrange short excursions, including catamaran trips, sunset cruises for example to famous Rock restaurant and snorkeling at local coral reef— wonderful experiences for couples wanting to explore the ocean in a relaxed way.
The staff were exceptional: attentive, discreet, and genuinely kind, always ensuring our stay was smooth and comfortable.
Overall, this hotel is an excellent choice for couples looking for a quiet, romantic beachfront stay in Zanzibar with beautiful ocean views, memorable sunrises, great food, and thoughtful service. We would happily return.

A beautiful village on the beach of Uroa in a wonderful place, great welcome with friendly and helpful staff.
Spacious and clean rooms a few steps from the sea. Wide variety of food for all tastes.
