An excellent staff, feel at home

Ali and Namman attend you like to be at the recepción of a 5 Star hotel, although is really a simple place. They really welcome You in a charming way. The place is centrally located close to the Main market and India, and restaurants. The dorm has fan ventilators. You can also enjoy the terrace with fresh air all the time. Have a pleasant stay in Stone Town!

Average experience!

You definitely just get what you pay for here. The washrooms can get a little gross as you are sharing them with the entire floor. The rooms are quite hot and a tad loud, but they are clean and comfortable. Lockers are provided but they don't seem very sturdy. The location is pretty good! Only about a 5-10 minute walk from the ferry terminal and the main street in stone town. The staff was wonderful!

Очень спартанский и бюджетный хостел. Но локация его потрясающая, рядом рынок и знаменитые улочки старого города с резными дверями, дом Фредди Меркьюри. В хостеле уютно, хорошая терраса с обзором. Рядом есть автостанция дала дала местных маршруток в курорты острова Унгуджа.

Peu cher mais pas le top

Lors de notre passage à Dar Es Salaam, nous nous étions arrêtés au Safari Inn. Hôtel fort sympathique et peu cher, le patron a été d’une gentillesse folle.
Apprenant notre passage à StoneTown, il nous a donné l’adresse d’un 2ème hôtel lui appartenant, avec un prix d’ami.
Nous voilà donc au Market Backpackers.
Déjà, pour des touristes français peu habitués de la Tanzanie, ce fut difficile à trouver. Ceci dit, il y aura toujours qqun pour vous aider à chercher :)
L’hôtel est pas terrible du tout, c’est loin d’être le grand luxe.
Nous n’avons pas payé cher, mais j’ai vu sur TripAdvisor que l’on pouvait réserver via Booking.com : en passant par la, vous aller payer plus du double voir le triple du prix... Ce qui le rend beaucoup trop cher pour ce qu’il est
Cependant vous aurez ici une chambre correct, des douches et toilettes qui ont été refait au dernier étages
Idéale pour passer 1 nuit ou 2 au chaud, et ainsi avoir un pied à terre dans ce très beau endroit qu’est StoneTown
