Best apartments in Tenerife
The apartments are very spacious, clean and well stocked. We especially love the large shower. The only negative is lots of stairs but access into the towns is easy on electric scooters, and the reception team are great at ordering taxis.
Wouldn’t recommend anywhere else to stay in Tenerife!

Significant Improvements Needed!
We stayed in room 414 and unfortunately found the overall condition of both the accommodation and facilities to be very disappointing and in need of significant improvement.
Accessibility was a major concern. Where the taxi dropped us off, there was no ramp available, meaning we had to carry multiple heavy suitcases up several flights of stairs. This would be extremely difficult for elderly guests or anyone with mobility issues. Although some ramps were present in other areas, they were very steep and not particularly practical or safe.
Around the pool area, many tiles were missing, creating both an unpleasant appearance and a potential safety hazard.
Inside the accommodation, several maintenance and cleanliness issues were evident:
• The doors showed clear signs of rot.
• Some of the walls had blown and the property generally needs repainting and proper upkeep.
• The washing machine was located outside with exposed electrical plugs, which appeared unsafe. We were also unable to open the door to access it properly.
• The fridge was heavily dented.
• The sofa had visible holes.
• The apartment sleeps 6 people, yet only 3 sun loungers were provided.
• Kitchen surfaces were stained and appeared poorly maintained.
• The main bathroom had a strong sewage smell coming from the shower drain.
• The second shower tray appeared to have been painted, but the coating had peeled away.
• Tissue was stuck to the ceiling in the second bathroom, which was very unhygienic.
• Several tiles throughout the property were cracked.
• Overall the property needs decorating and some general TLC.
• There was also a back gate, however no key was provided, limiting access and convenience.
Overall, the property did not meet expected standards, particularly in terms of safety, cleanliness, and maintenance. Based on our experience, we would not recommend staying in this room and would not choose to return unless substantial improvements are made.

Fabulous time at this 2 bedroomed apartment. It was spacious and had everything we needed.
Panoramic views from the patio area with outdoor eating area and sunbeds.
The apartment was clean and had fans in the bedrooms and living area which were very welcome.
The washing machine was a great addition and meant we could pack light and just take 2 cabin bags for a family of 4.
Local shops and restaurants all within walking distance. (Approx 1 mile to the Fañabe beach front). 1 mile walk to Siam Park.
This complex of apartments was very quiet. There was no bar in the complex. 2 pools were close by that we could use. Often pools only had a few people using them. (A third pool was available over the road but there was no need to go over).
There are a lot of steps to negotiate so just be aware of this that if you have mobility problems that this would not be suitable but for us with teenage children it was not a problem.
The communication from the hotel was excellent. They what’s apped you the details of checkin and online check in meant we didn’t have to go to reception at all during our stay. Check in and out was simple by using be key code to gain access at the apartment via a key box. The reception staff were responsive to what’s app queries.
We thought it really was a good place to stay.
Prices in Tenerife currently felt cheaper than in the U.K. so it felt like good value at supermarkets and restaurants. Cheapest pint of beer €1.50 3 course meal €10.95 - quality varied

Honest review!!!
We were in room 408, stayed at Haciendas IV for 7 days
We arrived at night so the reception was closed, so we went and got the key from the locked box. There were other guests that didnt receive their codes so couldn't access their apartments!!! Make sure they have messaged you 2 days before arrival.
When we walked in, I was very very disappointed. It was scruffy, extremely hot (around 40 degrees) as there was only one window open. We had no wifi connection and there was no note of the username/password!!
This, we found out from reception the next morning. It would have been good to have this in the apartment.
THERE IS NO AIR CON in any of the apartments. Never in my life, in all the countries I have visited have we not had air con. Instead we had a rather poor fan to move the heat around. We gave this to the children, so we melted.
We first went in to the twin bedroom, nice and spacious, with wardrobe and chest of drawers. I was confused as we had booked two double rooms.
The main bathroom was just off this bedroom as an en suite, which again was a little confusing. We walked in to what should have been the main bedroom, but it was small, in fact it was too small to be able to open the wardrobe on both sides and use the tiny set of drawers inside.
The pillow cases were all stained, so I had to wash some, one was so bad I just took it to reception the next morning.
We ended up using the wardrobe in the children's room, which was a pain!
We went in to the kitchen and it was very scruffy and unkept. There were marks all over the worktops, doors were wood so had swollen in the heat so couldn't close any of them fully. The blinds wouldnt slide open/closed as they were falling apart.
I then walked into the shower room just off the 'main bedroom' and the smell was nothing short of disgusting. The bottom of the shower was peeling off, the door frame was rotten, which was clearly from the poorly designed shower (the curtain doesnt stay in the shower). After seeing cockroaches in there, we decided to only use the toilet in there when the teenage child was taking a shower in the other bathroom!
We had paid for a balcony with side sea views, however, all we got was a 7ft wall as we were put in the bottom apartment.
Nothing like what we expected at all.
When asking the receptionist about this the following morning, she said we had been upgraded to a bigger apartment!!!! If this one is bigger, i'd hate to see the size of the others!!!
Disappointed, but I left it as we were unpacked and children settled in.
Things to be aware of/note: There are no drainers to the sink for when you need to wash up
There is no cleaning service while you are there for a week. We cleaned our own towels and bedding as these were not changed in the 7 days we were there.
There is a small outdoor utility area which has a washing machine.
There is a mop there too, to clean yourself, however, it looked like it hadnt been used since 1978 so I just cleaned by hand
Cockroaches are everywhere in Tenerife. It is expected. We had quite a few on our balcony from the palm tree right next to it. Ants were probably more of a nuisance as they were on every surface in the kitchen and dining room.
Sofa is comfortable, as long as you take off the back cushions or lay down on it. Just make sure to put a towel down first as it is FILTHY.
The pillows are very very soft. On the first morning, I woke up with a crick in my neck from the very bad pillows. This of course got worse throughout the stay, I ended up using the pillow from the sofa as it was harder to support my neck. I didn't have a single nights sleep all week, which ruined it for me
Pros:
Walk in shower room is lovely and plenty of hot water
Plenty of towels are left, you just need to clean them yourself.
Wardrobe in second bedroom was large, with large chest of drawers
Plenty of plates/cups etc. Cutlery and utensils good enough for 4 of us
Nice big fridge and small freezer
2 tea towels are left but they were tiny, again you need to clean yourself.
Very close to a British supermarket, but we preferred to walk further down the hill for a bigger coop type supermarket with a range of Spanish food. They have a lovely cheap little bakery for fresh baguettes.
Aqualand is just opposite this shop, and is worth a visit
We also visited Siam Park which isn't far which was great
It is very easy to get a taxi around Tenerife. We prefer to walk, just remember a lot of it is up/downhill so wear comfortable shoes.
There are 3 swimming pools. The two next to our apartment were not heated. Very small, but ok for an afternoon swim. In the morning, it is freezing cold!
The one next to the reception is heated and they have extra towels you can use at the poolside.
Overall, I would definitely come back to Tenerife, I just wouldn't come here again. I wouldn't recommend anyone stay here, it was the grubbiest place i've ever stayed in, and I have stayed in many 2/3 star apts. Very disappointed with the apartment, but we didn't let it ruin the holiday as the kids still had a great time!

Good location, friendly and helpful staff!
Cleaning of the apartment could have been done more regular (only once during a 7night stay).
The pool was literally on our doorstep!
About a 15min walk down to the beach.
Plenty of shops and places to eat near by.
