Perfect for disconnecting

We stayed last week 4 days on the occasion of the bridge, and it is a very cool place, tastefully decorated and carefully cared for, both in details and in cleanliness, and. Maria is very nice and super attentive with anything you need. Located in a perfect place to move around the surroundings (stone monastery, Tranquera reservoir, Calatayud...), in a very quiet environment, perfect to disconnect. Super recommended 100%

Gem of a hotel

We stayed at Hotel Castillo de Ateca purely by chance during bad weather and what a lovely hotel it is.
The room was warm, comfortable and spacious and the hotel also welcomed our 2 dogs. We had a delicious, very reasonably priced evening meal in the on site restaurant and had breakfast the next morning - the home made orange cake and apple cake were the best I have ever had!
The couple who run the hotel are just lovely and made us feel very welcome - we will definitely re visit.

Amazing stay

We stayed here overnight on our trip to Spain in our Seat Ateca! Hotel was very quirky on the inside, run by a very hospitable family. Ateca itself was lovely to explore for a walk and drink in a bar.
Hotel was dog friendly (no charge either), room was large with comfortable bed. We had the set three course meal all home cooked €20.50 which included wine and water. A complimentary buffet breakfast was served in the morning which was continental style but was very adequate to start the day. We would definitely like to return and would plan a trip incorporating this hotel on the way.

Warm, pristine, beautiful

A wonderfully warm host, a delicious dinner, a clean room, and beautiful views. Stayed for one night, but it was truly memorable. The breakfast was also plentiful, and the location breathtaking. Wish we'd stayed longer.

A good surprise.

We stayed here one night, in our trip to the nearby thermal baths, with our dog.
We loved the decor of this well-rehabilitated castle as well as throughout the entire property and room.
Our room had a very cosy red and wood feeling and the matress was excellent, good storage space too. Our room was perfect, i would just recommend a storage space in the bathroom, for our beauty products.
We also shared a menu at dinner because we werent very hungry but we always like to try the local dishes, and our choices were very tasty.
The hosts are very nice and i enjoyed very much the cheesepie at dinner as well has having an ORGANIC juice choice at breakfast.
This was very important to me, since usually in Spain they drink fake juices filled with sugars and etc..
Breakfast is actually very good, with 3 different types of homemade cakes, thanks for that.
We appreciate all that is homemade and not industrial.
The patio is the charm and cherry on top of this property, with its flowers and the relaxing sound of the water, very zen and cosy.
We will return and we recommend.
