Fantastic location. Unpleasant smell in the bathroom!
The location was perfect, it was 8 min walk of the main square (Plaça de Catalunya). The apartment was clean and modern. The beds/pillows were comfortable and there were blankets provided. A few disappointments were as follows: there was a horrible drain smell coming from the toilet/shower. We told reception staff who said they would get the cleaning team to come in. When we returned later that day it was definitely better but came back after a few hours. The description stated toiletries were included, however this consisted of x3 tiny bottles of shower gel/shampoo for x3 people for x4 days. Only x1 dishwasher tablet provided for x4 days. None of the appliance instructions were in English. The apartment was cold at night and the heating didn’t appear to work. Overall a very good apartment and I would recommend if the smell was sorted out.

Serious safety issues
The apartment was great for a large group, and the location was excellent. Unfortunately, our positive experience was overshadowed by a significant issue: we were locked out of the building in the middle of the night with no one available to assist us. Later that same night, we were locked inside the building due to the same malfunctioning door. This incident put everyone staying in the apartments in a life-threatening situation, as there was no way to exit the building.
It took more than nine hours from the time we reported the problem until it was finally resolved. This delay caused several people to miss trains and planned activities. Most distressingly, in the event of a fire, we would have been in grave danger.
The lack of an on-call staff member during weekends, especially with a large number of guests coming and going, is unacceptable. I no longer feel safe staying in this building and would not recommend it to others until these serious issues are addressed.

Inn decent and very well placed downtown
Small family weekend in Barcelona! The Pension location was niquel!
Everything was close, the room was spacious enough and special mention for the nice view of the alleys of Barcelona

Your deposit maybe unilaterally kept
TLDR: The people who rent out the apartment evicted 5 young girls mid-stay with a weak excuse and then failed to refund the deposit despite promising to do so in writing.
I hardly ever write bad reviews about service providers, but I have to recollect the experience with Fisa Rentals in Barcelona.
I booked the apartment for my daughter and four friends who went on vacation in Barcelona (all honor students).
On the second day of the stay I got a phone call from the operator claiming the girls were making too much noise at night. I immediately had a talk with all the girls who were not aware of the "quiet hours" and promised to keep the quiet.
The next day at 4pm I received a call from the apartment that the girls were noisy at night requesting they evict the apartment within the next 3 hours.
From a discussion with the girls they said they were very careful to keep the quiet. Did not put on music in the apartment and did not talk loudly. The only thing they did was leave the apartment at night to go out. Apparently their next door neighbor was very aggressive with them from the first night. They wouldn't agree to even allow them to stay until the next morning to give me some time to find an alternative apartment. The owner guaranteed refund of the unused nights and of the security deposit.
Having not been there I decided to be respectful of the owner's request and found the girls an alternative apartment at twice the cost on a moments notice. The apartment was returned in perfect condition (confirmed by the owner). A week later I was notified they decided to keep the security deposit.
From the reaction of my daughter who was extremely adamant I 'fight' for those 200 Euro I glean that they truly were not noisy and it was their neighbor who bullied them (she is a timid girl and doesn't tend to get into conflicts).
So, if you decide to book with them just take under advisement that they are 'easy' in taking liberties that are not within the purview of the contract and have no problem not returning the deposit.

Insufficient Amneties
We booked 29/3/23-2/4/23. It was a very comfortable and lovely place to stay. However, what was not acceptable was that for a flat with 2 room for 4, we were only provided with 3toilet rolls, 2 miserable bottles of very thin body soap n shampoo. We booked for 4 nights.
If you were an owner of this business, would you only provide one dishwashing detergent and laundry detergent for 1time when your customer is staying for 5days?
I really can’t believe it. An there was a Tripadvisor sticker even on the entrance of the flat we stayed in which I was so pleased when we arrived on the first day.
I really hope that those who would like to book would consider these and ask them specifically before you proceed.
