I recommend it.

I went to Bilbao alone and chose this hotel for its location and the good reviews I had read. After my stay, I can say that it deserves it.
I arrived around noon, and although check-in was later, they gave me the room immediately. From the very first moment, the reception staff was very friendly and welcoming, always willing to help and with a smile.
I also found the location to be great. It is very close to San Mamés and has good connections for getting around the city. Everything can be reached by walking leisurely.
The cleanliness was impeccable. Every day, regardless of the time I left, when I returned, I found the room clean and with fresh towels. Additionally, they have an electric kettle in the room with various types of complimentary tea. A nice touch.
Another strong point is the breakfast. Very complete and varied, with eggs, fresh fruit, croissants, freshly baked bread, cold cuts, coffee, and many more options. Much better than I expected.
I have stayed in much more expensive hotels that offered less. Although it is an ibis Budget, it has nothing to envy from many higher-category hotels in terms of service, cleanliness, and comfort. I would definitely stay here again and I totally recommend it.

Extremely disappointing.

I have never seen such a tiny hotel room, with a practically...non-existent bathroom. The microscopic sink is placed directly in the room and, given the cramped spaces, you just have to get out of bed and you are right in front of it. Then there is a kind of bunker with a toilet: the door cannot be closed and there are gaps above and below. Finally, there is the shower room that opens directly onto the bedroom. If the hotel cost little, I could even understand, but that is not the case. Kind staff, but unfortunately they cannot save the situation.

Small rooms, very few hooks, no tea or coffee on the room.
No toilet on the reception floor. Very tight in the breakfast room.

The zero degree of hospitality

Modern and functional rooms! That is to say, there is no bathroom! Shower, toilet, and sink directly in the room. You do everything in the same room. No privacy. It is the functional ex-GDR style, the zero degree of hospitality. Wet towels hanging next to your clothes. As for the sink, it is a hand basin.

Super good

I went with my son on June 19 to a concert.
The room was very cool. The hotel is very well connected.
The best part, the reception service; I want to thank them for taking such good care of us, with an extra effort that wasn't even their responsibility. They solved a parking problem for us that wasn't theirs and saved us, thank you very much.
The breakfast the next day was wonderful.
I would return without a doubt.
