Excellent Staff, Poor First Impressions
Unfortunately, our holiday got off to a disappointing start when we arrived late at night and discovered that our room hadn’t been cleaned properly. This was especially disappointing as the hotel itself is in a great location, with beautiful surroundings.
The bathroom was particularly disappointing. There was dirt in both the sink and shower, the toilet seat was dirty, and the towels looked like they had already been used. The complimentary toiletries, including the toothbrush and shaving kit, had already been opened, which was really unhygienic. To make matters worse, there was a fake eyelash on the bedroom floor, suggesting that the room hadn’t been vacuumed or mopped either.
We asked to speak to the manager, who was very apologetic and handled the situation professionally. She arranged for someone to come and clean the room immediately and then moved us to a different room the following day, which we really appreciated.
Our second room was much cleaner, but it still needed some maintenance. The air conditioning wasn’t very effective, so the room felt warm and clammy throughout our stay, making it quite uncomfortable to sleep at night.
Despite these issues, there were some positives. The reception staff were always friendly and welcoming, and the entertainment team did a fantastic job throughout our holiday. The buffet restaurant offered a good variety of food each day, and the hotel’s location was excellent, making it easy to explore and enjoy the nearby beaches.
Unfortunately, first impressions count, and arriving to such an unclean room really overshadowed the start of our holiday. While we appreciate how the staff tried to resolve the issue, the experience has sadly put us off returning.

Average, don’t understand the five star reviews
Aside from reception area which was bright modern and inviting, the hotel interior was generally quite dated and dull. The room itself was basic and of need of maintence. There were marks on the bedding and chair, and scuffs on the walls. Our room also felt extremely damp. Our sheets felt wet when we got into bed at night and the room never felt cold despite the aircon. There was no ventilation in the bathroom, and the shower leaked which exacerabated the issue. Staff said this was just because of the humidity and gave us a fan, which did help slightly.
The pool areas were disappointing - two small pools with loads of sunbeds on uninviting concrete flooring. We never bothered to sit by the pools for this reason as it was quite a depressing feeling area,, instead opting for the beach everyday.
We were also caught completely off guard mid stay, when asked by a staff member to bring our passports down to reception immediately for checks. There was a lack of communication by staff while they checked our details, only to be given an 800 euro bill for the other half of the hotel cost. Regrettably we had forgotton about this, but the staff member who checked us in had too. This was a nasty surprise half way through our holiday and no apology was offered from staff for the mix up.
12 hours before our departure, we asked reception to book us a taxi to the aiport. They said they were already pretty full with reservations but would try. To no shock, the morning of departure they said no taxi could be confirmed so we would have to organise a transfer ourselves. They said they only have a small taxi company working with the hotel, which is surprising considering the number of guests they have. Again, not much proactive help or assistance offered from staff.
The only positive from our stay is the location of the hotel. Very central, close to walk to all beaches, resturants and shops, and we had a beautiful sea view from our room.

Perfect stay minus the room temperature
This place is fantastic and I don't want my one critique to take away from that. The location, the amenities, the staff, the service - great! Everything really was great however I happened to get heatrash and the aircon couldn't go as cold as my body would have liked. The review is honest but don't let the sleep quality scare you.

Holliday friend
This place is not worth the price, room was dirty and smelly, the quality of food was terrible ,staff was rude , no air condition in the buffet , I don’t recommend this hotel
