A perfect stay in Cala Galdana

After staying at a subpar hotel for several days before this one, the difference could not be more stark. I am not sure if that may have colored my opinion of this place, but everything was incredible.
From the time that we walked in to the wonderful air-conditioning in the lobby to the time that we checked out, everything was five stars. The employees were welcoming and helpful. The grounds are beautiful. The pool was clean and the perfect temperature. There was even entertainment one of the nights that we were there!
The walk down to the beach from the hotel was really not terrible, I wish concerned as it is up a hill, but it takes maybe 10 to 15 minutes to walk down.
The kitchenette was clean and well equipped, I really appreciated the cleaning kit that was provided as well. The air-conditioning kept things at A perfect temperature, which was no small feat during the heat wave. The breakfast buffet was also quite good and varied. The beds were comfortable. There was a nice little balcony with racks to hang towels and wet clothing as well.
Honestly, I am not sure if there is even anything that this hotel could possibly improve upon, well done. I would happily stay there again!

Very good 3-star apartment hotel. If I were to return to Menorca, I would stay at this hotel again. All the staff members are very kind and attentive. Good location on the island, very clean, very good buffet, great variety of food. The apartments are very spacious and the mattresses are very good.
If I had to mention something negative, it would be that you have to walk up a steep hill to get to the hotel.

Really great hotel

We stayed at Ilunion this July and it was a lovely quiet family hotel - buffet breakfast excellent. Evening entertainment great! Some really good singers and the Kids Club evening entertainment duo so good, I don’t know where they get their energy from! Rafa behind the bar / restaurant is amazing! Good food, good drinks, reception smelled lovely, staff very helpful.
There are just a few things I’d mention but purely to help improvements:
More parasols around the pool
Better quality pillows in the bedrooms
A kettle in rooms would be amazing!
Please open the pool earlier then 11 am
Make more use of the little fake grass area by the pool it could be a shaded comfy little area with better seats
None of these issues would stop us staying again, we really enjoyed our stay!
Loved the hotel, loved Cala Galdana - great restaurant very nearby

Exceptional hotel

Exceptional hotel! Attended to the smallest details, spacious rooms with king-size beds and large closets, air conditioning in every room, towel changes upon request, rooms cleaned every day. In the bathroom, you will find toothbrushes with toothpaste, a razor, body wash, and soap; in the kitchen, a small kit with dish soap and a sponge. Upon arrival, they provide fresh water and cookies with a welcome note that was very much appreciated. The very good buffet is always restocked at any time, with a variety of dishes. At breakfast, one day waffles and one day fresh pancakes, in addition to everything else at the buffet. The reception provides beach umbrellas. Soft but engaging entertainment, Mariana is very sweet with the children, and the entire staff is truly helpful and always cheerful. The hotel is located a 10-minute walk from Cala Galdana; the return trip is uphill but doable. Near the hotel there is a playground, places to eat, and a supermarket, all reachable on foot. For a relaxing and carefree vacation, I recommend it.

incredible

We stayed at Ilunion Costa Sal last year and everything was great—especially Rodolfo, who recommended we visit Ilunion Menorca, where he was based for the summer. We booked the trip and had an incredible two weeks; congratulations to the whole staff. The island is beautiful, but without a doubt, neither Lanzarote nor Menorca would have made such a huge impact on our family if not for "El Cubanito." You're a legend, Rodolfo—wherever you are, we'll be back.
