Excellent. We will repeat.
An excellent camping experience. The campsite is in an unbeatable location, with many trees and shade, direct access to the beach (a clean, beautiful, and quiet beach) and stunning sea views from some plots and bungalows. The common facilities were clean and the bungalow had the expected equipment, without any issues. The supermarket is small but has a bit of everything at a more than acceptable price. The restaurant also has good prices and enviable views of the sea and the surrounding forests.
And now in our opinion, the best part: the staff's treatment is very close, almost like family. And here I would definitely highlight the entertainment team; they are great, they get involved in all daytime activities and the evening shows, both for the little ones and for adults, and they make the stay much more enjoyable. The week we were there, the pool was not available because it was under construction, but at no time did we miss it. Between the beach, the relaxed atmosphere, the water inflatables they set up, and the activities of the entertainment team, we enjoyed it even more.
It has been a perfect balance between tranquility, enjoying the beach and the vacation, and having entertainment both in the morning and in the afternoon and evening.

Very disappointing experience
I made a reservation at the Alannia Costa Dorada campsite on January 29, 2026, for 4 people, two of them children, so when choosing it we place great importance on the pool and entertainment since that is what we use the most. On July 13, having the reservation from August 9 to 16, I received an email indicating that due to technical problems the pool is under construction and will not be available all summer, something that at no time indicated when the reservation was made that the pool might not be available for the summer. I contacted the campsite to see if this was true, and they initially told me that the construction work was going to last until August 7th. I asked them if they could confirm that the pool would be available by that date, and they then told me no, that it would be for the whole summer. I asked them to please relocate us to another nearby campsite in the same Alannia El Prats chain, since they had space and the information they had given us was really false advertising—selling a pool that they would not be able to offer later, which to this day still appears in the description of what the campsite offers. They replied that they were not relocating guests, that we could cancel the reservation and book at the other campsite. At the time they told us about the problem, I recall it was July 13th, and since I made the reservation on January 29th, the price difference is 1,000 euros. I told them that if they gave me that compensation, of course I would cancel, but they told me they would give me a 25 percent discount on the reservation I already have at their campsite, so 25 percent for a service that is quite essential for us is not enough. Therefore, I request either relocation to the other campsite, Alannia El Prats or Alannia Salou, which are in the area, or compensation for the damages this causes to our vacation that we were looking forward to so much, and with this, it is ruined for us. They told me to file a complaint via email, to which, after telling me in several emails the same thing—that they would either give me a free cancellation or 25 percent off the reservation—they no longer even reply to the emails. Thank goodness we finally canceled at their campsite and went to another chain, with the great luck that it was a great vacation. I will not return or recommend this chain, as they did not know how to respond or provide a solution commensurate with the problem they had.

A total rip-off regarding the renovated pools issue
It seems like a very big rip-off to me when they indicate that they have certain facilities and services supposedly renovated in May (when we made the reservation). You find that finally, throughout the summer, the new pools will not be available.
They don't tell you anything until the last moment so that you don't find another possible offer at a reasonable price and you find that you must accept their ridiculous 25% and they don't even let you change dates for the same price.

A total disaster
I booked my stay through the Alannia reservation center for the Alannia Costa Dorada Resort. From the very beginning, I expressly indicated that I needed a cabin on the front line of the beach because I was traveling with a person with reduced mobility.
My surprise was that, although I was assigned a cabin supposedly on the front line, no one informed me that to access the beach there was a path of stones equivalent to about fifteen cabins away. It is incomprehensible that, after clearly explaining my wife's mobility difficulties, no one at the center really knew the location and accessibility of the accommodations they are selling.
As soon as I arrived and checked the situation, I reported it at reception. The solution initially offered to me was to move us to a closer cabin, but requiring an additional charge of €80. I obviously refused, as the problem was not mine, but rather due to inadequate information from the reservation center. Eventually, they spoke with the manager and changed our accommodation without charging us that additional fee, as was logical.
Unfortunately, the problems did not end there. The overall condition of the complex is frankly disappointing. There is a clear lack of maintenance and investment. The cabins are aging and show considerable deterioration. The wooden floorboards sink when stepped on, and in the bathroom, there are literally two holes in the area where the feet rest due to wear and tear from use.
On top of all this, there is a strong smell of dampness coming from the wood, which permeates the entire accommodation. Additionally, the front door was affected by salt corrosion and did not close properly. When I called to report the issue, the response I received was that the door "had a trick" and that the handle needed to be lifted up to close it. They even indicated that there was an explanatory sign on the door, although in our cabin that sign was no longer there, probably because it had been torn off.
Honestly, it is difficult to understand this way of acting. Instead of repairing a defective lock, they choose to put up signs to teach customers how to close a broken door. I believe that this situation perfectly reflects the level of maintenance that the complex presents.
In short, it is a real shame. The resort enjoys a privileged location by the sea, but it feels as though its facilities are progressively being allowed to deteriorate due to a lack of investment and maintenance.
Furthermore, I believe that the people working at the reservation center should truly know the establishments they are marketing and not confirm requests about aspects they are unaware of. When a customer informs that they are traveling with a person with reduced mobility, accessibility is not a minor detail, but a fundamental issue.
For all these reasons, we will not stay at this establishment again nor will we recommend it to others. Furthermore, it would be advisable for the management to reflect on the actual suitability of its facilities for guests with reduced mobility, as the impression we have had is that this circumstance is not sufficiently taken into account.

Old and worn out
Completely worn-out bungalows, just like the furniture.Cleanliness?if you disregard the black moldy silicone joints in the shower, the grease-spattered wall at the stove, the at least 2 year old dirty toilet brush and the old coffee machine, we have disinfected and played through everything first. The staff was friendly and helpful. The towels and linen was put in plastic bags on the terrace.Spa was closed! Under the terrace, some debris collected, from bottles to cutlery etc. Supermarket was good and adequately stocked. Restaurant not much choice but the burgers are good.The facility is in so far well maintained.The barbecues to borrow,I wouldn't grill anything on it! Pool area, for a cooling it is enough. Defective tiles,sufficient loungers.
