Surprisingly great daily menu at €9.

I went to Venta Avenida restaurant twice before posting this review. The first time I had paella and grilled squid with fries. I could not finish my delicious food. The second time I had seafood salad and tuna brochette served with two side sauces, so delicious that if I had paid €30 for my meal, I'd say it was worth it. But it costs only €9. I will keep going.

Total disappointment: claustrophobic rooms, odors, and zero problem management

Honestly, I cannot recommend this accommodation to anyone who values a minimum of rest and comfort. My experience has been very negative and the problems are structural.
​To start, the room is extremely narrow and small, with just enough space for two twin beds and barely any room to move around or leave luggage. The photos do not deceive regarding the available living space. Added to this is lighting with very powerful and cold white fluorescent tubes or spotlights, more like that of a hospital or a nursing home than an environment designed for resting.
​The most serious issue is the smell. The location above several hospitality establishments (a fry shop and a churro/pizza shop) causes the smell of food to rise and concentrate in the room. If you add to this a strong smell of pipes in the bathroom that persists throughout the entire stay, the experience becomes unbearable.
​When I went down to the reception/bar to politely comment on the odor problem (following the cleaning staff's own suggestion to speak with management to find a solution), the manager's response was disappointing. She simply said that they were fully booked and that "in her own house the pipes smelled too," completely washing her hands of finding a solution or alternative for the guest. Completely unacceptable customer management.
​In summary: poor facilities and customer service that is nowhere to be found. There are much better options in the area for similar prices where they actually care about the guest's well-being. I will not return.

Terrible treatment

Terrible paella that we ordered to take away and we got a surprise since the paella couldn't even be eaten, on top of that you go and complain and "they raise your shoulders" as if to say... and what do you want me to tell you? The joke cost 144 euros so that they didn't care, this sale has lost a lot, years ago it was much better, not recommended!!

HOSTAL BAR AVENIDA CONIL DE LA FRONTERA CADIZ

This establishment is in the so-called district of El Colorado in Conil de La Frontera, Cádiz. I don't know, but I don't think it works as a Hostel, but it does work as a cafeteria, churrería, restaurant with a very varied menu, both for consumption in the premises and for take-out crowds. of dishes that offer cuisine as well as oven-roasted chicken, very well prepared. In the morning they offer very good churros and porras or toast with tomato and natural oil and excellent coffee. All at moderate prices in a menu of varied starters, Andalusian Iberian products, fried fish, grilled meats, pastas too. Family with terrace and indoor dining room with air conditioning, homemade cuisine and good service. I have gone during my stay in a hostel in the surrounding area to have breakfast and some other food and both the service and preparation were very good.

Nos hemos alojado cerca y hemos ido a cenar al restaurante y hemos llevado
Comida de la freiduría , todo muy bien , correcto , mención especial a las pizzas , riquísimas !!! Con un producto fresco delicioso
Se agradece el trato cercano aún cuando el restaurante está a rebosar , ánimo !! Solo que da agosto
