Great time in Denia at Ogisaka Gardens

We stayed at Ona Ogisaka Gardens for 1 week at the being of June 2026. We booked a 1 bed apartment through RCI and were lucky enough to get allocated a 2 bed apartment, which as we were 2 friends was great. We did not have a balcony or terrace as the lounge area had been extended into the balcony and closed it all in and although I was disappointed initially, it was fine as we used that apartment to escape the heat. We self catered and although only 2 hobs, and microwave, we managed really well. Nice fridge with freezer box in it and a washing machine (didn'tuse that). We were given a dish cloth, scourer, tea towel and 1 sachet of washing up liquid (a weeks supply would be useful, we had to buy it) and laundry liquid. The beds were really comfy, great shower and good air conditioning, just generally really good. The outdoor swimming pools were lovely and a pleasant surprise as were told they wouldn't be available until mid June. Had 1 meal in the restaurant and had a coffee during thw day and the staff there and at reception were very friendly and helpful. Generally the accommodation was great. The surrounding area was lovely and quiet, although be aware it is about half an hour walk up to the town and the old town where you get a large choice of restaurants and shops but supermarkets and a choice of about 6 restaurants are within 5 to 15 mins walk. All in all a great holiday and wouldn't hesitate to book again

Room was nice. Air con wasn’t working properly but it was fixed during stay. Staff helpful and able to use facilities after check out

Could be much better

The service at the front desk was very good, the guys were super nice and friendly.
The "little boss" was a bit unpleasant; we went with two children and asked for water, and she brought us a small bottle (€3), and later we realized they had pitchers of water to serve yourself (for free) and she didn't tell us anything. The food was scarce, little variety, and they take it away ahead of time; they told us at 4:00 PM, and at 3:30 PM one of the children went to get a dessert and there was nothing left; we asked them please if they could bring out a piece of gelatin and they didn't give it to him.
The apartments leave a lot to be desired. The sofa bed is for one person, the sheets are small, the utensils are scarce, and most of them don't work. And it's better not to talk about the fridge; it's small and doesn't cool.
The cleaning was bad, it has many cockroaches and mosquitoes; you inform them and ask them to give you something, and their response is that it is normal in coastal areas (we go to coastal areas every year and this is the first time this has happened to us), that the maintenance person would come to put down some powder (it seems he went to another apartment or was referring to other powder, because he didn't appear all week).
The pool is fine and the animation girls are another positive.
The closest beach is a nature reserve, which is fine for seeing fish and is very quiet, barely has waves, and is shallow; the downside is that it has a lot of seaweed.
My recommendation is that if you have another option, take it.

Lamentamos lo ocurrido con la información sobre el agua y la disponibilidad del buffet. Nuestro restaurante ofrece variedad mediterránea con opciones para niños, aunque revisaremos los horarios de servicio para mejorar.
Respecto al apartamento, mantenemos estándares de equipamiento básico con cocina completa, pero verificaremos el funcionamiento de los electrodomésticos.
Sobre la limpieza, seguimos protocolos estrictos con cambios de ropa cada 4 noches en estancias cortas, y actuamos ante cualquier incidencia reportada.
La playa cercana es parte de una reserva natural, lo que explica su biodiversidad y tranquilidad característica.
Esperamos que nos concedas otra oportunidad para ofrecerte una mejor experiencia.

The stay at the aparthotel has been, in general, good. The location is very convenient, it has parking, which makes the stay much easier, and the apartment was clean, spacious, and well-equipped.
However, the buffet was quite disappointing. The variety was very limited and, at several times, there were hardly any options available. In fact, we had to go out for dinner because the offerings were insufficient. We believe this is an aspect they should improve, as it does not meet the expectations of a buffet service.
In summary, I would recommend the accommodation for its comfort, location, and facilities, but I believe the buffet offerings need significant improvement for the experience to be truly satisfactory.

Good experience. We always repeat.

Very good facilities. Ideal for families with children. Animation and nursery service for a few hours. Clean. Incredible pool.
