Very good place to stay and efficient staff.

I slept one night in this hotel crossing the Pyrenees by mountain bike. I have found this hotel really comfortable, it is far from the main road, so you do not hear any kind of traffic around, outside the hotel there is a good restaurant, in any case you are in the center of Le Port de Suert, so you can walk everywhere around finding the best place where to eat.
The manager was really nice to accomodate my bike and to prepare me a very good breakfast to bring with me by the fact I left early in the morning.
He satisfied completely my needs, thanks for the hospitality!

very nice staff

I was very satisfied with my stay in this family run hotel. the owners are very nice and respect my vegetarian diet. the food was very delicious and I have nothing to complain about. I can recommend this hotel to everyone.

Great motorcycle tour stopover.

very nice staff, family run inexpensive very clean surprisingly spaceiose room, nowhere to "officially" park the bikes but we were able to leave them right outside in a covered allyway right in front of the hotel.
Hearty breakfast and pictuesque town for a walkabout in the evening.

Overnight in a medieval town

This was my first splurge for this trip. El Pont de Suert is one of several towns in the province of Girona that has a medieval old towm called the "casco viejo". The flower covered balconies of the hotel, which is right on the main square of the old town, drew me in. The cost of the room, which included the evening supper, the morning breakfast, and the IVA tax, was just about 50 euros. The room was spotless, had two twin beds, a table, two chairs, and a wall mounted TV. The bed was comfortable and I slept well. The dining room was crowded for supper. I'm not entirely clear whether all the people were actually staying at the hotel or whether they were feeding a bus group. My supper consisted of a large plate of cooked green vegatables with some potatoes, chicken and french fries, bread, a liter of mineral water, and two good sized slabs of ice cream for dessert. Morning breakfast was buffet style, with a variety of things from which to choose. A meat and cheese plate was brought to the table and when I had finished it, I was asked if I wanted more. My only negative experience at the hotel was the shower. The shower head was broken and hanging from the hose, so there was no way to take a shower. I had never thought to check the functionability of the shower before accepting the room. But I think I will start doing that. There is a big public parking lot only a couple minutes walk from the hotel, so transferring my stuff from car to hotel was no problem at all. Four stars rather than five, simply because of the shower problem.

Very clean, good room for short stay, very little English spoken.

The Hotel is located in a small quiet courtyard in the centre of Pont De Seurt. It can be difficult to find. Parking is on street nearby.
Dinner, B&B and room for two was 100 Euros.
The male owner and a waitress were the only people who understood very little English. Get your phrase book ready.
The room was very clean with en-suite, TV and small balcony.
Smoking in the rooms is permitted.
Dinner (8.30-10pm) and breakfast (8.30-10am) is typically Catalonian, basic.
The river runs nearby for a stroll but there are very few resturants. There are a couple of bars.
Pont De Seurt is a very small rural town, which is OK for a nights stay.
