Very good hostel and attention from its fantastic staff

I want to comment that we are two hunters who were on Saturday, November 22, 2025 and we took a room and the truth is wonderful the room very clean and with good heating and comfort.
And then we went down to dinner and we were attended by a professional named Javier who offered us what he wanted us to have for dinner a chop some sautéed mushrooms and a variety of croquettes and then the dessert we go we were delighted with the art the friendliness the kindness and the attention that in such a small town there is a waiter who would already like many restaurants in the capital to have this Andalusian in his restaurant
Thank you for the attention received for the sympathy of this Andalusian del Rocio and for the management of the hostel for having on its staff a professional in a town in the Sierra de Guadalajara

VERY BAD EXPERIENCE.

Passing by this place, while traveling alone. I stopped to eat and I wish I hadn't, as I had never been scammed like this with food. On the menu, I ordered rice with mushrooms and shrimp, and I couldn't eat it because it was overcooked, and when reheated, it was hot on top and frozen on the bottom; not cold, but frozen. The microwave surely is not their strong suit. Additionally, there was too much salt all over the plate, and who knows how many days it had been made. I returned it, and they didn't even ask me why.
For the second course, I chose cuttlefish, which was served breaded, something quite strange, although it is a way to cover it up. It was also very salty, and the dish was meant for at least three diners; they surely had a lot left over, and I returned it as well, inedible. They took it away without asking why or showing any concern.
The dessert, rice pudding served in a watery jar of curd and topped with a lot of cinnamon.
When I went to pay at the counter outside, the waiter asked me if I had eaten well, to which I indicated that it was disgustingly bad, and that I had paid €16 for
not eating, and when I did so, I expressed it without a response.
Upon leaving, already on the street, I commented with other customers who were in the same situation, although they complained about the price and it was lowered to €13.
In case anyone is interested, I shared my experience so they can decide whether to eat here or look for another place.

Good Experience

Clean rooms with all the basics you need.... But the great restaurant.... The sirloin with thistle mushrooms and brutal Truffle.....
Very friendly and family friendly....
I was doing a bike ride and everything was easy from minute 1

Unsympathetic staff and raised floors

It urgently needs land reform. The hallway on the second floor was almost up. Very unfriendly staff especially the reception guy. When you visit you expect more kindness. Excessively expensive prices for the quality of food they offer. I didn't like it. Not recommended.

Very impressed and highly recommend

Very good food. The chuletón was incredible and at a very low price for the quality of the meet. 1 kg+ plate of delicious grass fed beef of Spain. Hostel was very clean and smelled nice with big and spacious rooms. The working staff are also very polite and will serve with whatever needed.i highly recommend this place for the surrounding views and fot the quality of service.
