Sacred silence.

We enjoyed a very pleasant stay in a superior double room with a good terrace offering magnificent views of the Monastery of Guadalupe and a spacious bedroom with a very comfortable king-size bed.
The buffet breakfast was quite acceptable in a very spacious dining room, and the dinner outdoors in a garden area with pleasant fountains.
The pool was not yet open in the first half of June, so we could not use it.
The location of the Parador de Guadalupe is perfect as it is right in front of the Monastery of Guadalupe; however, the parking at the Parador costs 18.00 euros per car per day, a price in line with the difficulty of finding a public parking space.
The employees of the Parador de Guadalupe, both at the reception and in the dining room and cleaning, were all friendly and professional, a good place to rest and enjoy the silence.

A greater gluten-free selection is recommended.

We spent a quiet weekend. I missed a greater gluten-free selection on the menu, especially when it comes to desserts.

I was disappointed with this property. They were doing quite a bit of improvements in the Central area of the property and it was a little inconvenient. Not to mention that it didn’t look that great. After paying the amount of money that I paid I was expecting more. They should’ve told me that they were having renovations. The staff was not overly friendly. In my opinion. Some of them were, but the majority were not. I’ve stayed at otherParadors which had much better service overall.

Charming hotel in a unique setting

Beautiful old building near the monastery, with a superb orange patio. Spacious room with large terrace offering magnificent views of the monastery and mountains. Nice swimming pool but deckchairs to improve. Staff a bit rude.

The location next to the Monastery was very good. Everything has a vey historic feeling.
We didn’t have dinner there but the breakfast was wonderful and the large breakfast restaurant was amazing.
Some outdoor renovation was going on.
