Disappointed in room
My problem with this hotel is the room you get does not match the room advertised on their website. I booked a matrimonial room and the photo had the room showing lots of room and a bigger bed. Reception even confirmed that there are different size beds in different rooms. We were given a room that looked exactly like the individual room advertised on their website. Very small room, and small space. There was also one towel which proved to me it was a room for one person. When I complained I was told that the room I had was what I had booked ( a matrimonial room) and they did not acknowledge my complaint about the room not matching the photo. We were very crammed and for the price of 70 euros I was really disappointing. If staff would have acknowledged this error and offered some discount it would have made a difference but they dismissed my concern

It's a disgrace.
Unfortunate. The room is very small, has no air conditioning, only has a plug in the headboard. The bathroom is inside the room separated by a curtain one meter from the bed. Central location, it parks very badly and the surrounding streets are conflicted, I had to go down at night to put the car in the parking lot of Colón because there was a group groping it. Rooms overlook an alley and downstairs there is a Chinese restaurant with its corresponding smell of Asian food. It is not as shown on Booking or other accommodation booking websites. €100 a night seems abusive to me for what it really is. Service is nonexistent. If you let me give you some advice, don't stay here if you're still on time. We feel ripped off.

booked it by mistake of booking.com phoned them strait after booked ask to refund they refused they kept my money even did not stay there, poor customer service poor location AVOID THIS HOTEL ,person on the phone was rude and they are only after money forget about customer experience,,,, Never been treated so adly

OMFG Lol
First - t there is ZERO parking, nothing, nowhere! This is an inner city hotel on a busy side street, we finally found somewhere nearly a mile away and I'm not kidding. The guy on reception was pleasant enough but spoke no English, fortunately I speak a little Spanish so we got checked in. The room was a NIGHTMARE. It was stifling hot with no air conditioning, no fans and the no respite from 38 degree temperatures. I literally had a shower and went to bed dripping wet, i even soaked the towel and tried to cool down with it on me. Lorrries and scooters and loud people went past the open window all through the night and we dare not shut the window for fear of literally melting! The bed covers were made of some sort of awful velour material and the single pillow was as thick as two sheets of paper and that's being generous!

Very smoky
The first thing that I noticed on entering the room was the smell of smoke which seemed to be deeply ingrained into everything. The room was very small, so much so that the only place the suitcase could be opened was perched on top of a small desk. The bathroom was also one of the smallest that I have ever seen. On the plus side everything seemed clean (except for the smoke) and there was a balcony on to the street which was surprisingly quiet when the door was left open in a (failed) attempt to clear out the smoke smell. The wifi was stable and worked well.
The pension is close to Irun-Colon station and the centre of town with easy access to bars and restaurants. All rooms are up a flight of stairs and key carded with the card also working for access to the front door.
Overall, it was fine for a single night but the smoke would have driven me out if the planned stay had been any longer.
