Perfect stay

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
V hotelu se mi naprosto všechno líbilo a opravdu nemám vůbec co vytknout. Celý pobyt byl nádherný. Personál byl velmi milý, ochotný a příjemný. Všude bylo krásně čisto a uklizeno, pokoje byly perfektně udržované a jídlo bylo výborné. Bylo vidět, že se o hotel i hosty opravdu pečuje.

I absolutely loved everything about this hotel and honestly have nothing to complain about. The whole stay was wonderful. All the staff were incredibly kind, helpful and friendly. Everything was spotlessly clean and well maintained, the rooms were perfectly tidy, and the food was excellent.
You can really see how much care and attention is given to both the hotel and its guests. I’m leaving extremely happy and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Boring hotel

Hotel is in nice and lovely location close to the beach and promenade. Staff is kind and polite. However entertainment is very basic and poor. Inflatables are not allowed in the pool and maxi club for kids constantly closed. Some activities like making tote bags and bingo for adults only. My 11y old twins were a bit bored. Music by the pool only for half an hour mid day and half an hour for mini disco in the evening. Evening shows are waste of time and in Spanish only. There is nothing interesting to look at. We used to stay in the hotels with music playing all days and entertainment by the pool all days. Food is good but plain taste, needs aromas and spices. Mainly Spanish and Portugese people in the hotel. We stayed in junior suite which needs refurbishment. It’s definitely far away from 4 stars. Kids had double bed we had a sofa. Beds weren’t made at all during our stay. Only I placed a note in the middle of our stay to change sheets and only double bed sheets were changed. Sofa was never touched. Only bins were emptied and toilets were cleaned. Sink and bath weren’t cleaned at all during our stay. They didn’t give us toilet roll until was completely finished. The gap between shower screen and bath tub is so big that we had a puddle in the bathroom after every shower. Mould is all around the tiles. I worked in 4 stars hotel when I was younger and this is not 4 star UK standard hotel. I would come back to this area but this hotel is well boring and far away from 4 star standards.

Not a good stay in the rooms. But pool area was nice

Our room was ready when we got to the hotel when we got into our room it was small and dirty we are a family of 5. We moved rooms into another small room. The bedroom door would not close. The furniture was breaking. The bathroom ceiling started leaking so we got moved a 3rd time into another room that was just as bad. My husband leaned on the bedside cabinet to ring reception for clean towels and bed sheets that would fit the beds but the phone did not work and the bedside table fell off the wall. Also the fridge was rotting round the outside. The balcony floor had a crack in it. The bedroom door again would not close. The bathroom smelt horrible. The room didn't get cleaned properly.
The outside was nice and good entertainment round the pool. The snack bar was repetitive same everyday. The restaurant food was nice. It was boring at night nothing much to do. We would not return

Amazing all inclusive holiday

We had the most amazing 5 days at this lovely hotel. From the minute we arrived everyone who worked there was lovely, always smiling and went that extra mile. We stayed in a suite so had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms so it was perfect for myself, my husband and our 2 teenage children.
We went all inclusive which was amazing. All food was fresh, perfectly cooked and so much to choose from.
The drinks were great and having a token to swap for a drink then once finished you collect your token by giving in your cup is a great idea. It keeps all tables clean.
We all did aqua aerobics which was such good fun and all animation team were smiley, easy to talk too and looked like there were really enjoying their job.
The night entertainment not so good but it didn’t matter to us as we would have a drink in the Ibiza bar and play cards on a secluded table next to it.
We walked to the little shopping area along the promenade and each evening had a stroll along the beach.
Housekeeping left us a bottle of Cava to enjoy with sweets and a lovely note. Lovely thought. Thank you.
An amazing place which we will definitely return too. Thank you all xx

Great family stay

Our family of 10 had a great stay at Estival Islantilla at the end of July. The location is great - right on the beach and a short walk away from a commercial centre. The food was good and there was loads of choice in the main restaurant. The snack bar is more limited but it was great for the kids to be able to grab chips, pizza or ice cream whenever they got peckish. I definitely recommend booking the Mexican restaurant (Fridays and Saturdays) - I wasn't expecting much when I realised it was a buffet but the food was amazing.
The rooms are a little tired but spacious and comfortable. Really nice to have a little fridge to keep drinks cool. The pool is lovely, and the slides and splash pads are fun. There are some lovely little seating areas on the grounds that are perfect for relaxing with a book and a drink.
There are some little things that aren't perfect, as other reviewers have noted. The floors in the bedroom could be cleaner, and yes, it can be difficult to find a sunbed between about 10am and 1.30pm when they start enforcing the 30-minute rule. The token/cup system is maybe mildly inconvenient, but it's probably part of the reason the pool area is so immaculately clean and tidy.
There isn't a huge amount to do locally, so it wouldn't make a great base for people who like to explore. But I'd recommend getting the little tourist train into La Antilla and getting cheap and delicious coffee and cake at Pasteleria Los Angeles.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!
