Pleasant, clean and affordable
This was a nice hotel with clean bedrooms and friendly staff. Myself and my husband had a car and this place had free parking which was great! We were able to walk right to the downtown area within 15 minutes. We only tried the breakfast at the restaurant which was simple but good. Our room had AC which is definitely a must in Jerez!

Hotel Quitagolpe
Excellent value for money but with a few shortcomings.
The staff were very pleasant and helpful.
The hotel was very clean and tidy, and the room was fine.
First impressions from the outside gave us an unfounded fear of what we would find inside.
We had a broken shower bracket which left the bathroom flooded when we used it.
The restaurant was very disappointing. The meal choice was very basic, but the breakfast was fine. We chose to eat in town which was only a 10 minute walk,

Perfect if on a budget.
We stayed here for two weeks during May of 2007.I found the hotel by accident on line when searching for details of the horse fair.La Feria De Cabello.
I got a direct flight via Ryan Air from Stansted,then took a taxi to the hotel which was about a half hour journey from the airport.
As we approached the front of the hotel I thought,Oh No',as it was situated alongside the main highway.The hotel was exceptionaly clean.Rooms basic,no frills.Our room were at the rear of the hotel,above the busy kitchens but,it didn;t disturb us too much.We didn't hear noise from the road.
The food was self service and,was amazing value for money,lots of choice and,the locals all piled in at the weekends so,it must be good.
Our budget didn't allow a higher star hotel,but,this was ideal for our small budget.The location was ideal for all that we wanted to see in the area.Staff spoke minimul English but,with basic words and,gestures we managed.Staff were friendly and,refused our payment for dinner on our last night there,which was a lovely gesture.
We came for the horse fair,held during the first week of May.Taxis from the hotel to the fair were just a few euros and,the centre of Jerez was within walking distance.
The old city parts were interesting,and,bodegas were worth a visit.
We explained to staff eventually',that we were going off for a few days to the White Villages,Arcos,Rhonda etc.Stayed in another budget hotel,old coaching hotel,where the owners son helped my daughter to find a riding establishment so that she could hack out on one of the womderful Andalucian horses.

Nefasto
Llegamos a las 11:30 de la noche con la reserva hecha por booking. La atención fue buena en recepción y aparcamos en la puerta.
Subimos y mi pareja se duchó y yo me quedé dormida. (El baño se encharcó completamente y tuvimos que poner toallas en el suelo porque el agua llegaba a la habitación)
A las 5 de la mañana me desperté porque me iba temprano y además tenía frío, y cual es mi sorpresa cuando voy a darme una ducha rápida de agua calentita que el agua caliente no va.
Mi pareja se duchó con agua hirviendo sin problema, pero se ve que por la noche apagan la caldera porque yo NO PUDE DUCHARME.
En fin, me parece deprimente para una habitación que al fin y al cabo cuesta casi 60 euros que no te puedas dar una ducha cuando quieras porque te cortan el agua caliente.

Ideal para no dormir ni descansar nada
Ni un hostal,más bien como una cabaña. Viejo y descuidado. Hablan de parking privado, y es un descampado. Ubicación en la carretera, las ventanas no insonorizan nada, el trasiego de coches constante. Se usa de picadero. Es necesario tapones y ni por esas. Para no volver
