Correct hotel, good reception, somewhat high price in relation to the structure and services.
Correct hotel, but it accommodates large groups...
Despite this, the front desk service is very good; however, the bar restaurant only focuses on the groups.

Basic and with flaws.
The deluxe room is fine in terms of size, but it lacks any details that differentiate it from a basic room, such as a bathrobe, slippers, water, etc. It costs almost double that of the basic room.
The refrigerator was empty, dirty, and had a wine glass in it; since when? On the first day, we reported it at the reception, and no one removed it.
I thank the afternoon receptionist for being attentive and letting me know that I had left the car lights on.

Good option in La Alberca
It is located inside the city center and the building has just two heights with an elevator
The reception staff is friendly and efficient.
The hallways are well lit and the rooms well identified.
The room for individual use is about 16m2, din count the terrace-garden that is, it was somewhat small, although it had a comfortable distribution, despite the dimensions, if it was only by one person. The bed was 1.35m and they were comfortable, and the pillows. Soundproofing was good, you couldn't hear the noise outside, something from the hallways. The lighting was correct and could be left in the dark.
The furniture was in pretty good condition.
The TV was about 30" and had numerous channels.
The bathroom was spacious and comfortable. It had a large shower. His lighting was correct. The faucets worked properly (even the shower was thermostatic) and the towels were nice.
Breakfast was right for this category and was buffet.
Dinner was not very appropriate for the category.
In short, a good choice to stay in the Pool.

A SAD STAY
I have stayed here a number of times over the past decade when volunteering with Pueblo Ingles. I have really liked to stay in this hotel and thus specifically volunteered for when this is the venue. It has been fine FOR ME before. Obviously I cannot speak for every week when used for PI over the years. In 2022 when I was there in July about half our party of getting on for 40 people fell sick. I did not. 2024 was fine. I was not so lucky this time. We heard that there had been sickness the previous week. There was in the week following ours too. The peak sickness was in my week. Of the 35 people in our group at least 30 fell sick with the sickness starting almost as soon as we arrived. How sick people were varied from a few hours or more to a week or more. I was in the latter group with over a fortnight of illness. No doctors were called so I cannot prove what the sickness was but it was assumed to be norovirus and when I described my symptoms to a doctor on-line that was confirmed. Everyone was kind but I was suffering. Obviously I do not know who would be responsible for the problem. I only know that there was a serious problem. I would be wary of going back without knowing that some sanitary action had taken place. I am sorry.

Dying of success.
It's a shame. We visited La Alberca on July 4, 2025. We made a reservation through Booking. The night cost around 94 euros without breakfast. Upon arrival we are told that breakfast costs 6 euros per person. Continental breakfast. We could evaluate it until the next day. The pool is located over 2 kilometers away at the hotel group's main hotel. When we returned from the pool, we noticed the air conditioning wasn't working, so we reported it to reception. They tell us not to worry, that they will look into it. We went to dinner at a restaurant also belonging to the hotel group. I asked if we needed to reserve and they told us no, and about 40 minutes later, there was no way to have dinner on the terrace unless someone left. We waited about 30 minutes until there was a space on the terrace. The food and the staff must be said to be very good. Upon returning to the room, the solution to the air problem was to find a fan in the room. There was no way to sleep. When it was time to leave, they asked us how our stay was. When we said it hadn't been as we expected, they said they were sorry. Neither a discount on the price nor any compensation such as offering us breakfast, for example. Bad experience. We had asked about some kind of voucher at the other hotel in the group to give as a gift to some friends, but given what we've seen, we're going to give up. They have people insured so they don't worry if something goes wrong. They knew about the air problem because they told us they were looking into it. As I say: it's a shame, but in the long run it means losing potential customers.
