Very good stay at Villa Tiphareth

Dire experience – we do not recommend it under any circumstances

Our stay at Villa Tipharet was absolutely disappointing. They housed us in a room that had nothing to do with what appeared on Booking: it looked like a makeshift shanty. The fan was not working, the shower was poorly installed, and the overall condition of the room was regrettable. As if that were not enough, we found bugs all over the room, which we found totally unacceptable.
The most alarming thing was discovering a door that connected directly to the owner's room. We couldn't open it, but he could. This door overlooked our room, which made us feel totally unsafe and without any privacy.
Commenting on the situation to the owner, instead of being sympathetic – considering that we were coming from Murcia, after more than five hours of travel and with all the luggage on top – he was adamant and with a high-handed attitude. It was impossible to talk to him.
We called Booking to report the situation and they told us that within 21 hours they would give us an answer about the refund. It's been about 15 hours since then and we're still waiting. No one has paid us back so far, and all this has been a huge waste of time, money and peace of mind.
An experience to forget. We do not recommend it at all. This site should not be advertised on serious platforms without prior inspection.

Fantastic stay in Marbella

This villa is quite simply fantastic. It has everything you need for a truly amazing stay. The host Martina was so helpful. She came back to my questions very quickly and made sure we were looked after during our stay. We knew we were in very good hands. The highlight I think is the pool and grounds. There was plenty of sun lounges to relax on around the grounds. The pool was very refreshing and we felt very at ease. The supermarket is about 5 mins walk and the beach about 15 mins. The beach has some nice restaurants and there are lots of locals.
The villa surpassed my expectations. Believe everything you read in these reviews!

Fantastic Villa for a group getaway

We visited the Villa for a Hen Do for a long weekend in June.
The accommodation surpassed my expectations from pictures I saw from the Air bnb website, it was clean, comfortable and had a lovely pool area perfect for chilling out in the day. There are two bedrooms in the main villa, and the others all have their own entrances and en-suites. There is a kitchen, indoor living and dinning area too if you are renting the whole Villa.
There is a small shop around the corner which has the basics, but we had a bbq and ate lunch and breakfast at the Villa too, so we had to get a 5 min taxi into Marbella to go to a bigger supermarket. The onsite 'handyman' helped us with our taxi booking etc and any other problems we had, which was great, as our Spanish isn't much good.
We travelled into Puerto Banus in the evening which is a 10 mins in a cab (approx 20 euros), Martina, the owner recommended a cab company which I pre-booked, who were great. We didn't go to Marbella much, but id say its not as easy distance to walk in the heat, but 5-6 euros in a cab was worth the price.
Martina was a great host, responded promptly to all my queries pre-trip and made us very welcome.

Everything you need plus the things you didn't realise you need!

Gorgeous villa, so much space, all outside rooms have ensuite. Owners/Maintenance people so helpful and accommodating, went above and beyond to help with anything we needed. Very clean and tidy, free wifi. Their recommended taxi service were brilliant too. Nice and safe area, far enough out of Puerto Buenos to need a taxi, but close enough that it's a 5/10 min ride away.
