Beautiful, calm, and wholesome stay

The atmosphere is warm, peaceful, and full of charm. The kind of place where you instantly feel at home while also being surrounded by history and beauty. We stayed here as part of our stop on the Camino de Santiago and honestly wished we could have stayed longer if we didn’t have to continue our journey.
The breakfast was a highlight: fresh bread still warm, delicious jams, quality meats and cheeses, homemade yogurt, and freshly squeezed orange juice. Everything felt thoughtful, local, and prepared with care.
The rooms are both beautiful and cozy, with the perfect balance of comfort and character. Waking up there, looking out at the surrounding area, was simply special.
What really made the stay unforgettable were the owners — such friendly, warm people who clearly put love into everything they do.
I couldn’t recommend this place more.

Lovely stay at a lovely place with lovely people

I am making my way along the English Way of Santiago and was looking for a comfortable place to warm up after a long, cold walk. I chose this place based on the positive reviews, and I was not disappointed. I was made to feel at home, even though I was far from home. The house is very clean, comfortable, and warm, and the owners are always ready to assist with anything you might need. The breakfast was excellent and definitely gave me the energy I needed for the walk ahead. Highly recommended.

A Fairytale Stay at Casa do Castelo de Andrade

What can I say other than that I will stay in this gorgeous home over and over again? Casa do Castello feels like a house frozen in time, yet it has all the modern comforts you could wish for. It was so refreshing to stay there. Everything was spotless and smelled amazing, and if you love cinnamon, you’ll never want to leave. The coziness and warmth of both the place and its owners made our stay truly special.
Breakfast was absolutely delicious, with every cookie and cake homemade and full of flavor. We also loved spending time in the library, where there are plenty of new board games to enjoy. I was so happy to find my favorite one, Catan.
Surrounded by lush greenery, the whole place feels like you’ve stepped straight into a little fairytale.

Absolutely Incredible

This was one of our favorite stays while in Spain. The owners could not have been nicer or more helpful. The Inn has incredible charm and the breakfast was amazing. Sitting out on the lawn in the evenings overlooking the town reading is a perfect way to spend the end of a touring day. I really can not say enough about the wonderful experience we had.

Castelo de Andrade Best Rural House ever

Castelo de Andrade is unique in every way! Beautiful house, amazing owners and Alberto is almost your personal tour guide his knowledge goes beyond the Galicia and he is always willing to share different places to visit. Breakfast is freshly prepared every morning and it is fun to spend time with other visitors. Even my teenage boys enjoy the piece and quiet of the house and did not miss TV or computers. We have visited 3 times and can't wait to be back!
