Weroad
Weroad seemed like a good travel option but nothing further from the reality, I made 2 trips with them (Mexico and Japan) the final trips are 4 times more expensive as they include almost nothing and the male coordinators will only link with the participants , physical and mental tiredness, bad experience

We Road is a SCAM
I was with We Road in Japan in June 2023, their website and the idea of traveling by age groups hooked me, I only realize now that it is all MISLEADING ADVERTISING.
The first thing I observed when the group got together in Tokyo was that the age ranges did not meet at all, since there were people from 28 to 52 and on top of that there were also people who were not traveling alone, but as a couple, giving rise to sub-groups.
The figure of the coordinator: I realize upon arriving in Japan that he was a person without any experience/degree/profession in tourism, he is a person who is not paid by the agency, travels for free, and his only means of travel was his own cell phone ( on top with the battery always discharged) and Google Maps, I had never been to the country before and it made us waste hours and hours just to move from one place to another, with all the consequences of the case, endless hours walking through streets, subways, subways etc. loaded with suitcases, imagine the physical and mental exhaustion, there was bad vibes every day and the coordinator had discussions with the participants every day exactly because she had no idea where we were and each one went on their own with their own cell phone and Google Maps, because the group has never really existed because it stayed at a certain place at 12 hours a day, not even the time to sit down to eat or go to the bathroom.
An important note: the coordinator's service is included in the amount paid to the agency, so unfortunately from the common fund (about 250 euros for each one they ask to reach their destination) all the expenses of this coordinator are subtracted, since 2 are paid SOMETIMES a service that does not exist, because this coordinator is nothing more than a person who travels for free, is not paid by the agency and even shares a room with the participants. No comment!!!
Basically the only thing the agency does is reserve the hotels and then sends a random GUY to accompany the group, but the agency charges a coordinator who is supposed to be a tourism professional capable of taking a group and knowledgeable about the country.
Hotel issue: the rate paid to the agency includes a night in a ryokan (traditional Japanese accommodation) because the riokan in question was the filthiest thing I have ever seen, 5 dirty mattresses lying on the floor in the same room, There wasn't even space to open the suitcase, since we had to spend the night packed together like beasts. With respect to the other hotels, with great surprise upon arrival we realized that no breakfast was included, but BE CAREFUL because the agency charges the participants at full price, then once there not even 1 measly coffee is included.
Food Experience theme: they sell it to you as a gastronomic tour, in reality a character who was not a guide either, takes us to a regular bar to eat potatoes and fried chicken (!!!) and then to a really cool street food place. shabbier.
What to say about We Road? That they are a total SCAM, that I will never travel with them again, and that in their trips there is not even close attention to the traveler, to the culture of the place, to the curiosity and enjoyment that each person expects when visiting a new country.

Queralbs is no longer Queralbs
