Amazingly fantastic!!!

Again we have been in Villa Pico (7 times now) and we had a wonderful stay, as always. Every time it appeasement to be better. The hospitality and personal attention everybody gets from Benny and Harco is touching and makes you feel very much at home, while in the meantime you can be withdrawn from people and have your own corner on the beautiful terrace or in the garden. Thanks again for a lovely stay at Villa Pico; we will be back again!!!

DO NOT GO WITH BABIES. IT IS NOT A SUITABLE PLACE

We went with our baby, my partner had previously asked if the place was adapted to go with a baby, the answer was yes and we also asked about parking and they told us that they had their spaces very close. So we went with the idea to spend the end of. When we arrived the spaces were occupied, we called and the owner came down for us and said he would let us park at the door. Nis had us follow him up a very steep slope where the car has no turn, where we couldn't turn. On the way back, just continue upwards, with a baby and the risk that this entailed. He told us to park at the same door, part of that ascent lane. Inside, everything was large stairs, a room without a TV, and the breakfast that he intended to offer was very shabby. a package of York ham and a packet of coffee.
We saw that it was not a suitable place for our baby, being there isolated without being able to walk her or access to doctors, supermarket, restaurant, etc. We asked for a refund to return and not stay, to which after a long conversation I accepted (the only positive thing). We felt cheated. and it put our daughter at risk, I shouldn't have said that that place is for babies, don't even think about going with babies, it's not a suitable place and also the slope doesn't allow you to go up with the car safely. Very bad experience, risk and waste of time.

Misleading advertising

In September 2023 I booked a night with my partner because I read very good things, but it turned out to be the opposite.
The owner lives there and has his things everywhere, our bed was not well made, there was no shampoo, gel or hairdryer in the bathroom (which by the way was outside the room), the shower faucet was broken and did not come out hot water, there is no TV in the room, the wifi does not work well and what they offer you for breakfast is a loaf of bread with packages of ham and cheese from Mercadona and instant coffee.
The town is very beautiful and I recommend it, but not Villa Pico because the good opinions and most of the photos that appear are from the previous owners.

Night away !!

We went the walk to the gorge and Pasarela walkway in Relleu, then night in Sella nearby.
Villa Pico ideal for relaxed atmosphere, good views from terrace.
Rooms are adequate for price charged, breakfast was better than anticipated for €5.
Owner helpfull and attentive.
Sella is on the side of a hill so not for the infirm or anyone with difficulty going uphill ??

Authentic Spanish Experience

Villa Pico is a superb B&B run by the enthusiastic Benny and Harco who really went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible.
We stayed in the Tower room which boasts the most stunning views of the surrounding area with spectacular mountains all around. The room itself is very comfortable, spacious and well equipped to be completely self catered if desired.
Breakfasts on the terrace were a good time to have a chat with our hosts and make plans for the day ahead. The information on hand was neatly presented in folders, giving plentiful ideas of places to visit and mountain walks for all levels of fitness. Benny and Harco made themselves available to drive us to the places we wanted to visit which really enhanced our stay.
The village itself is nestled in the mountains and looks stunning from all around. There are bars and restaurants serving food made from locally grown products. There are two supermarkets and two bakers, one of which still uses a wood burning oven.
We loved our stay at Villa Pico and will definitely be returning.
