Worth it.

Quiet place,situated near ski slopes, of Piedrafita with its faunistico park.Near Sallent de Gallego and the Lamuza swamp.Nice excursions to the Ibones.Good service, clean room and comfortable bed.Foods very well.From the dining room beautiful views.Parking a little fails.I give you a 9.Volvere.Photo Ibón Ordicuso, from Panticosa

Great value stay in very quiet town.

Stayed here one night on B&B basis, whilst touring Pyrenees. This is a great budget option. Nothing pretentious, just clean and simple. We had a double room which was small but functional, with a shower/bathroom.
The breakfast was a good quality buffet style hams, cheeses, bread rolls etc.
The views were stunning, not only from the room, but also from the top of the Mirador de Santa Marina. This is reached by way of a steep pathway up through the trees a short distance from the hotel. It's well worth the climb.
Parking. There are 6 or 7 parking spaces to the side of the hotel. My advice on coming into the town is to ignore satnav instructions which will tell you to make a sharp, steep right turn at the church. Don't do this because a few yards further on there is a narrow hairpin bend to get to the car park, which is impossible to get round. Instead, stay on the main road past the church and turn right at the "Ayuntamiento" building, then right again and follow to the car park, avoiding the hairpin.
All in all, the only dissapointment, which was nothing to do with the hotel, was the town itself which was almost completely deserted. Not sure when the when the summer season starts here but the majority of the houses seemed to be unoccupied holiday lets and only the Blasco bar/restaurant was open for an evening meal.
I should imagine the town is as different again when it's livelier.

Nice and quite hotel..

The hotel was great , clean and very quite... The view out the window was awesome . Toño and the rest of the personnel were very nice, professional and helpful.
We had dinner in the restaurant one night and it was very good. Breakfast was great and delicious every day.

Peace & Love in the mountains

We stumbled upon this place as we drove through the Pyrenees. The owner is very nice and hospitable. The location is incredible with fantastic views, great hiking, and a lovely little town to chill out and explore. One night we ate dinner in the hotel and it was delicious! A great place to enjoy as a couple or family. Enjoy!

Traveling from England to Spain visiting places on the way.

Whilst Host & Hostess were charming, helpful & great hosts, the Hotel is in need of a little refurbishment. Communal areas were very worn & dated. We were given a bright clean airy room with magnificent views It was spoilt by a saggy & very squeaky bed so sleep was a bit spoilt. The other problem was plumbing, dripping toilet system all night and awful noisy pipes when anyone flushed or turned on a tap. It is a great shame as the evening meal was ok & breakfast excellent with a little money spent here & there ithe Hotel would blossom.
