Comfortable, clean and very helpful

My wife and I are walking the Camino de Santiago (800 km) and really needed our rest! This hotel is a very good bargain, we got a large clean room with a bathtub that was very comfortable. They switched us to a king size bed as soon as we asked, and they even microwaved our dinner for us! (restaurants open late here, and we wanted to get an early start so we bought food at the supermarket). Delicious pastries at the cafeteria for breakfast, too!

Too expensive for services

Minimal welcome and unseemly staff.
Small room overlooking the street.
Decent bathroom with bathtub.
No parking but possibility to park nearby when you can find a place.
Minimalist breakfast. A hot drink, fruit juice and a croissant, toast or mini sandwich with 2 toppings.

Two stars, and not more...

Stayed one night as part of Camino ride.
Centrally located in the town, which isn't much more than a crossroad.
Hotel seem stuck in the 80's, depressing entrance and reception area.
Rooms were old, but of reasonable size, bathrooms clean. No airconditioning. Rooms facing the back have no view.
Breakfast served, very limited and not at all sufficient for teenagers.
Staff inattentive.

Sleepless night.

We stayed in room 411, the velux style window in the roof leaked while it was raining. Some of our luggage got wet in the middle of the night. We tried to put a bin under the leak but water was dripping in all along the width of the window. Unfortunately we barely slept because of the constant dripping. In the morning the floor was covered in water.

Large room, centrally located, great shower and friendly people--perfecto!

Truthfully my expectations were lowered for some reason perhaps because the photos of this property were not impressive. I should not have worried. Hotel staff was friendly, our room spacious, the bathroom roomy and even with the window open at night to fiesta events in town, I slept well. Noise level was not bad at all. Townspeople were very friendly and the main street outside your door has a number of bars and restaurants. Good night's stay!
