Will definitely come back!

Maleedee Bay Resort is definitely a good idea if you’re planning to stay in Ao Nang. It’s located on a quiet area just a short walk from the main street. If I knew I would love this place so much, I would have booked it for all my days in the south and then would just get on day trips to Phuket. We did the Phi Phi and Hong Islands tours and was very convenient to have the hotel so close to the port.
The staff was really friendly, we asked for the late check out at 1PM and arrived a little late so they were extremely patient while eating for us to pack.
The bungalow is amazing, very spacious and cozy.
The only thing I would change is the fact that it doesn’t have restaurant/breakfast. They do have the space for it but it isn’t available.

Perfect few nights

This small resort was extremely peaceful, only around a 15 minute walk down to the strip but they also offer a free shuttle at certain times, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable, mini fridge in room and water provided each day, nothing was too much to ask for the staff who were always on hand if needed, everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming, the air con in the room was amazing too, nothing better than coming back to an ice cold room, blackout curtains and a nice terrace to chill out on too.
Honestly can not fault the place.

A little restoration...

We had already been in this hotel before covid, we went back and noticed that it is a bit “neglected”. Both the common areas and the rooms should be reviewed a bit. The boys are very kind and smiling, the property also offers a shuttle service 5/6 times a day, with the last ride at 7.30 pm. Pool clean and spacious. Prices of soft drinks and hot drinks are in line with other facilities.

Not a place we would go back to.

The path down to hotel is very steep so us oldies would never have chosen this place if we had known about it. The reception we received was very formal. Given room Keys and expected to carry our own bags up steep upstairs so had to ask for help. The bed was clean and very comfortable but the bathroom was awful. Sink tap was only cold water and trickled out so slow it was impossible to wash. Toilet blocked twice as no pressure in cistern. Overall it is more like a Motel and could do with a bit of TLC but for the price it would suit budget travellers.

Hellish. Avoid at all costs. Mouse and ant infested !!

Rooms are nothing like online. Ant infested bathroom Woke up this morning at 6am (day 2) with x2 mice in our room coming in from the hole in the ceiling. Asked then Refused is a room change, place was dirty and staff were very unhelpful!! A staff member come into the room to help with the mouse that was in our room, got it after an hour of trying to catch it. As soon as they left I opened the bathroom door to find another one in the bathroom to which someone else come and killed… then left blood splattered all over the shower.
I asked for a room swap to which at first they pretended like they didn’t understand me and instead just “checked us out” we then waited a further 30 minutes thinking something f was being done and I asked again for a room swap, the woman eventually agreed as new guests were coming in and I wasn’t shy about explaining the mice in our room. Otherwise I don’t think they were going to help us . The room they moved us into hadn’t been cleaned from the previous people who had been staying in there. At this point we just decided to shower & leave immediately. Avoid this “resort” at all costs. This was absolutely not a resort & you couldn’t pay me to go back!
