Good budget room
We were attracted by the price- one of the few options which fell within our budget, and booked for 3 nights. The guest house is about 10 mins from the main pier (though our Thongsaew driver chose to drop a family right at the top of the island first so it took over half an hour!). The guest house is across the small road from Pesai beach. There are around 15 wooden bungalows set in attractive gardens set back from the road. Our bungalow was rustic, clean enough, a good size with a large balcony. Bed had an intact mosquito net but wasn’t the comfiest. Bathroom was part open so expect a few insects. Cold water shower. No Ac so it was quite hot during the day but a ceiling fan kept it cool enough at night. Staff were helpful but speak no English. There are a few restaurants close by, others less than 10 mins away. Pesai beach is one of the best on the island for swimming, especially at high tide but in Feb 25 it did suffer from a lot of driftwood and trash washing up. (Local council workers did their best to clear trash in a morning but more could be done by beachfront businesses.) I wouldn’t describe Ko Yao Noi as a typical Thai island paradise, there are better beaches elsewhere, but it’s a pleasant, quiet place worth exploring by scooter. We were happy with the price paid v quality of the room.

An interesting stay’
Well this started off badly, the room we were allocated on arrival was nothing like the photos!
It was smaller, the bed was like concrete and the pillow a brick. It was so uncomfortable that I spent most of the night awake searching for somewhere else to stay.
We found somewhere close for 2 nights which meant we could sleep.
I did complain, (google translate was a godsend as the family didn’t speak English. After 3 nights we were moved, room 100% better but sadly we only had 2 nights in it.
The location is lovely, the family were also really kind.
It is budget price but really cute bungalows, just DON’T stay in room 11 or 12.

Amazing stay you, don’t want to leave....
You really get the price you paid, don’t expect a luxury stay as you are in the island. The bungalows are well equipped with refrigerator, fan, shampoo, soap , tissue paper. You have a wide balcony where you can relax, for it is surrounded with a very good garden or flower and fruits - the owner are so kind to allow as pick the big mangoes to eat. Just a one minute walk from the bungalows to the beach where you can sit with the locals hammocks, and swim if the tide is high. Simple bungalows, and we are shock that there is a free wifi just be patient because sometimes wifi is slow in the island. There is also a tourist information outside owned by the owner of the bungalows where you can book your tours, rent motorbikes - they give a very cheap price compared to the other shop - and they also have a gasoline station . You can also ask them to call a taxi for you, to your laundry, restaurant recommendations and other things. The owners K. Da is very very friendly and caring and can speak english well. Mother and Father just a bit english but they can understand a bit. They are very kind much to allow the guests and the local people have some do your own coffee near and tea for FREE just beside the tour information. Overall we had a very great simple leaving in Pasai Beach Lodge we are both looking back for our next stay in this beautiful paradise. Highly recommended.

Cute Hut And Sweet Owners
I really enjoyed my stay and the owners where very helpful and made my stay enjoyable! Everything was very clean! Thanks for gettimg me the bike as I loved the ride around the island a lot!! Just fown the road I ate at Chang Baan everyday as the view was gorgeous and the food awesome. Tell them Cathy from Canada says hi!

Great location, good huts & helpful staff
We spent four nights at Pasai Beach Lodge and were very happy there. The Lodges are spacious and well equipped with a fan, fridge and mosquito net.
The shower is only cold water but was perfect as it was so hot there. The Wi-fi does not work in the lodges but is really good at the seating area by the entrance. The owners and staff were very helpful and gave us advice in respect of the best way to get to Krabi re taxi, boat, bus etc.
Good restaurant next door. We would return.
