A pleasant hotel with a good location. If you cross the road, you’ll find the beautiful Klong Nin Beach. A 7-Eleven and other good restaurants are within walking distance.
The hotel staff are friendly, though perhaps a bit reserved if you don’t speak Thai. Unlike what other reviews have said, we liked the pool—it was clean and well-maintained.
The downside of the accommodation is that it’s a bit old and dated overall. Additionally, there are both prayer calls and roosters crowing every morning. So if you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs or choose another hotel.
You get what you pay for, and considering the price, it’s a good hotel.

Ok hotel near a great beach Klong Nin
Whilst travelling SE Asia for 3 months , we stayed at this resort on Koh Lanta for 6 nights . A lady ( we think the manager or owner ) checked us in and was nice and friendly . When we got to our hut with nice big balcony overlooking the garden we noticed the air conditioning wasn’t working so we called reception and a guy come to fix it . The following day it wasn’t working again so he come back and fixed it again . When we was walking out past reception the same lady asked what’s the problem with the TV so we told her that it wasn’t the TV but the air conditioning that wasn’t working . She never replied . When we checked out the same lady refused to even look at us never mind talk to us . To this day we have no idea why she acted like this towards us considering we paid to stay there for 6 nights and we are friendly people who don’t usually complain but we feel the ladies attitude towards us was uncalled for .
Klong Nin Beach Resort is fine , although maybe a little dated but that didn’t bother us . We loved our resident tree frog in the outside bathroom , he would go off during the night and return every morning sticking himself to the bathroom wall for the day. Klong Nin itself is lovely with a stunning beach and lots of restaurant and bars to choose from . We had a great 6 days here which was only tarnished by the lady from behind receptions attitude towards us on checkout . Would we return , probably not to this resort but definitely back to Klong Nin Beach.

Each staff person was a pleasure to meet. Great family feel among the long time employees, Each intent to make your stay a pleasure. I will choose this hotel if and when I return to Ko Lanta.

Amazing location and beautiful bungalows
A small but fine resort on wonderful Klong Nin Beach.
Location is awesome because pretty central. Beach is across the street and you can safely settle down at the Andalay if you consume there.
Seven Eleven, Laundry, Massage etc. all in close proximity and many many restaurants. Sundowner with good music in Horizons or Andalay.
The best food for us was at LomLay (shortly after the Seven-Eleven).
The single bungalows are great with a really mega terrace. Problem: the houses stand elevated and there are 4 steps to the front door every about 50 cam high, so legs and hips must be healthy. The rear bungalows look a bit messy. Bungalow itself has an outdoor shower, which alone is awesome. Room is very large and practical and everything worked perfectly. Opening and closing the balcony door annoys as stupid system. Umbrella on the terrace would not be bad either.
If the room is to be cleaned, the sign must be outside the door.
At the pool you can hear the street noise clearly but beach is the better choice anyway. Hotel is run by nice family and you can also eat there well and cheaply. The gentleman at the reception helps with questions and problems.
There you can also rent scooters, book excursions etc.
ATM is outside the hotel.
Below our bungalow lived a field hare and in front of our bungalow once stood 1 calf, 1 squat, 1 cat and the field hare at the same time, we found it classy. Oh yes, if you see the old Siamese cat, please feed him.
Conclusion: Good hotel in great location with nice staff and at reasonable price, so what more could you want?

The bungalows were much larger than expected. The pool was in immaculate condition. The long stretch of beach was easily accessible across the street. The staff were absolutely lovely and had great local recommendations.
