Great 4 night stay at the Lanta Queen Resort

Spent 4 nights at the Lanta Queen and couldn’t fault it. Staff were great. The food and drinks are good and the accommodations are just what we wanted. The food bar seemed to fill up with non residents so it must be well thought of in the area. Our laundry was done swiftly at 50BHT per kilo. There are some other great places to eat nearby and it’s opposite a fruit market so plenty of great things to eat. The staff also sorted out taxis when we needed them and it’s possible to hire mopeds as well. I didn’t catch the name of the boss lady on reception but she was very nice and helpful. All in all a pleasant stay.

Excellent value for money

Stayed here for 14 nights, and really enjoyed my stay. The rooms were a little dated, but clean, free from bugs, and pretty spacious. There was a nice veranda, a minifridge and a really good aircon, plus a fan. An added bonus was the ridiculously fast internet (over 200 Mbps over wifi). Location is pretty good, with some nice restaurants nearby, a minimart next door, and a 5-10 minute walk to the beach.
Would definitely consider staying here again.

Great stay!! The mini fridge was the best!

We stayed here for 1 week and it was such a great experience. After staying in dirty bamboo bungalows and having to deal with people that changed our bookings last minute, we were so grateful to find a well organized and clean place!
Excellent value/money.
The best thing is they have a fridge and plates, like an actual bungalow, and we were able to finally buy food therefore we didn’t spend as much eating out. We loved having breakfast in the morning on our balcony. They offer good instant coffee with cookies and water. So great!! They aslo have a really good little bodega store right next door so it was perfect to grab snacks and food.
The people that run it are super lovely, very attentive.
They helped us out a lot and also gave us sweets in the mornings. They let me shower in one of the rooms before taking my bus back.
Its not directly on the beach, but its 3 min walk and the location is excellent. Loads of restaurants around and close to beautifull beach.
I would happily come back!

Very Nice for the budget.

I lived at lanta Queen for 3 months and for long stay customers this is gold.
It is not pricy and the staff is honest and helpfull. The owner speaks good english.
The rooms are clean and Ac is good. Its located on southern longbeach close to relaxed beach. it is the optimal stay if you want a little bit of everything. Beach, Party, relax and good restaurants. much better than north in clong dao... this is the area locals (scuba instructors and divemasters) choose to live...
enjoy your stay, you will love it.

Quiet location

We stayed at Lanta Queen for two weeks at the end of February. It's situated at the southern end of the long beach area, set back just off the road. It was about a 5-10 minute walk to Relax beach, which we favoured over the main long beach.
We had an a/c room (room 9), which had a fridge and a kettle. (800 baht/night). The room was clean and spacious with a small sit out area with a bench. Some comfortable chairs would've been nice.
The family that ran it were friendly, as were the many cats.
You had a lot of choice of restaurants within a short walk, Tha cuisine being one of our favourites, doing delicious curries.
I would stay here again and would probably hire a scooter, as taxi and tuk tuk drivers try to charge you silly amounts for relatively short journeys.
