Our stay was so lovely the owner (Jah) and her son, Best, made us feel right at home. They showed us around and gave us fantastic recommendations for where to eat and activities to do, she helped us hire a bike to get around since there isn’t grab or many taxis in the area.
All the staff were so lovely and helpful. The location was also fantastic, beautiful views over the water and the national park was amazing to walk through.
Also the cafe out front had fantastic food and coffee and was very well priced.

Disappointed
The word 'Grand' is not one I would use to describe this place. It's just an ordinary slightly dated and a little grubby resort. Although the location initially feels lovely, the reality dawn's when you want some food or drink in the evening. Nearest restaurants are 5kms away, along with the 7-11 ( which is the only place to buy alcoholic drinks). I skipped breakfast on the first day in favour of a 7-11 sandwich, because of a noisy group of Thai people that were drunk. The following morning I went, and had pre ordered ' phad kaprow'. Firstly they brought the wrong dish within moments of sitting, then after a few more moments they handed me a plate of food that I instantly pushed away. Stone cold rice with a shriveled fried egg on top with no more than a spoonful of phad kaprow next to it. Once again, the 7-11 sandwich will be my breakfast. I was so looking forward to staying here. The pictures and Agoda reviews were all similarly written, so I'm guessing they might not be as accurate as you would expect. For the price I expected a lot more!

Loved the position and our wonderful host. Nothing was too much trouble. She took us to the shop to buy food,and also drove us to the pier for our onward Journey.

The owner Jah is very helpful and it's a nice, quiet location beside a national park.

Before the diving trip we decided to stay at this lovely, secluded resort. The location of this resort next to the entrance of Petra National Park is unique. Breakfast is at the beautiful cozy coffee shop in the front. The owner Tja speaks perfect English as she was educated in Chicago. She is very knowledgeable of the area and gave us a ride to the city when she was running errands. She took us to the market which was our first experience with a Thai market. She also recommended and gave us a ride to dinner, and we took good care of her. We were so happy to be welcomed on our one of our first stays to Thailand by a beautiful soul. The rooms are minimalist, but the view of the pier is lovely. She arranged for us to take a boat out to another island in the national park to visit. It was a desolate island, but I am sure it was busy during the tourist season. We were there during the rainy season.
