Definitely different
I enjoyed my one night stay with friends. The design of the hotel is appealing and different and my thatched roofed rondavel was large with a comfortable bed and large, contemporary bathroom. I overlooked the lawn and the attractive lobby, dining, reception area but the view from my rear patio wasn't very nice.
The African theme is an original aspect and added interest to our holiday.
Staff were efficient, friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was, for me, slightly disappointing with limited choice and poor presentation.
It was a fun time.

Nice quiet place, beautiful room near pool
We just stayed here for one night but enjoyed the place. It looks beautiful and was very quiet. I do believe that the weekends are the most busy times here. This Thursday night we might have been the only guests at the resort.
We had the Classic Family room which is located right in front of the big pool. I am actually glad we took this one instead of the private pool villa. We now had the big pool all for ourselves and the pool was less than 10 meter from our door.
The room actually consisted of two bedrooms, one with a big king size bed and one one with two beds. The bathroom between them was huge. At the entrance there was a small seating area. Not too big but we mostly used the outdoor chairs and table.
It seemed to me as if the rooms had some new paint recently. It all looked freshly painted. Nice!
Each of the bedrooms had its own TV. In the entrance area you find a fridge and water cooker for making hot water for coffee, tea, ....
In front of the door you have your own terrace which I estimated to be at least 15 x 4 meter. This space has a roof over it which can provide some shade during the day. The floor was covered with artificial grass. Usually I am not a fan of that but here it actually looked really good. Maybe it was relatively new as well.
The pool in front of the room was large and has areas with different depths. In March the water had a very pleasant temperature. Next to the pool was another water area that had some beautiful lotus flowers in it.
The grounds of the resort looked ok. I read some reports of people saying it was not well maintained. I did not get such impression.

The roof of that section migh need some maintenance but it wasn't that bad as this might sound.
For breakfast we were asked what we liked. There was a choice of four different sets. They don't provide a buffet but instead cook breakfast for you at the time you have given them. The choice was a mix of Thai style breakfast and American breakfast.
The location of the resort is towards the front of the Sun Phueng area. Everything is easy accessible. The main road is not that far away.
Overall we enjoyed our stay here.

The private pool two bedrooms is the best
We stayed here for two nights. The price for two bedrooms private pool is around 240 usd/night on weekday and we think it’s the most reasonable price compared with other resort around here. The location is good, not too far from the main road and other tourist attractions.
The villa is great. The private pool two bedrooms and outdoor living area are designed for complete relaxation. The villa is providing privacy where is good for families. We have 6 people total, 2 kids (7years), two 40 years old, 74 and 80 year old and everyone loved it.
The buffet breakfast is quite normal and little variety but the taste is good. The staff is nice and very helpful. If we visit Suan Phueng again we will definitely stay here again.

พนักงานบริการดี แต่ที่พักธรรมดา อาหารเช้าธรรมดา ไม่คุ้มกับเงินที่เสียไป
เรามาพักที่นี่เป็นเวลา 1 คืน ที่ห้อง Superior เพื่อไปวิ่งมาราธอนที่จอมบึง โดยการจองผ่านเวบ agency ที่พักที่นี่ ตั้งอยู่ในซอยค่อนข้างลึก (ซึ่งเป็นปกติสำหรับที่พักในสวนผึ้ง) และอยู่ในโซนชุมชนน้อยๆ
ห้องพัก: กว้างขวางทั้งห้องนอน และห้องน้ำ น้ำดื่ม ขนม ชากาแฟ มาม่า สามารถทานได้หมด เตียงนอน นอนสบายไม่มีปัญหา แต่ว่าตำแหน่งของแอร์ไม่ค่อยดีนัก และไม่เหมาะกับคนที่ไม่ชอบให้ลมแอร์มาเป่าใส่เวลานอน ห้องน้ำมีอุปกรณ์ให้ครบครัน แต่ด้วยที่ที่พักอยู่ท่ามกลางธรรมชาติ แต่รูระบายน้ำในห้องน้ำ กลับเป็นรูใหญ่ๆ ทำให้เจอสัตว์หลายชนิด ตั้งแต่แมงมุม รวมถึงตะขาบด้วย กลอนประตูล็อคห้องค่อนข้างดูไม่ค่อยน่าไว้ใจในความแข็งแรง คุณภาพวัสดุโดยรวมของการตกแต่งห้องพักดูธรรมดาเกินไป (เมื่อเทียบกับราคาห้องต่อคืนในระดับ 3000 บาท)
รีสอร์ทโดยรวม: ลอบบีและทางเข้าดูสวยงาม และอลังกาารมากๆ แต่ภายในรีสอร์ทค่อนข้างโล่งไปนิด ทำให้ทางเดินระหว่างลอบบี้ไปห้องพักค่อนข้างร้อน เพราะไม่ค่อยมีร่มเงาของต้นไม้ใหญ่
อาหารเช้า: เป็นไลน์บุฟ่เฟต์ แต่คุณภาพค่อนข้างธรรมดามากๆ เมื่อเทียบบกับค่าห้องพักในราคา 3000 บาท (ไข่ดาว ไส้กรอก แฮม ขนมปังธรรมดา ผักสลัดธรรมดา น้ำส้ม ประมาณนี้ครับ ชา กาแฟธรรมดา)

ที่พักสวยดี
โดยรวมเราว่าที่พักที่นี่สวยดีนะ แต่ในห้องนอนมีกลิ่นอับๆ นิดนึง ห้องน้ำโอเค น้ำอุ่นปรับยากเล็กน้อย ตอนไปเจอทั้งไฟดับ น้ำไม่ไหล และท่อตัน แต่ไม่ได้แย่ขนาดทำให้ไม่ประทับใจนะ พนักงานบริการดี บรรยากาศโดยรวมโอเคเลย เป็นธรรมชาติมาก อาหารเช้าเสริฟที่ห้อง รสชาดใช้ได้ แต่ไม่ค่อยอิ่ม
