⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simply the Best Resort in Koh Samui!
From the moment we arrived at Centara Reserve Koh Samui, we knew we had chosen somewhere special. Every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations, and without hesitation, we can say we wouldn’t stay anywhere else on the island.
The resort is absolutely beautiful. The lush, immaculately maintained gardens create a peaceful tropical oasis, and the beachfront location is simply perfect. Waking up each morning to the stunning views and having one of Koh Samui’s best beaches just steps away made our holiday unforgettable.
Our Ocean View room was elegant, spacious, and incredibly comfortable, with gorgeous sea views that made it a pleasure to wake up every morning. The two pools were equally impressive. The adults-only pool was wonderfully peaceful and the perfect place to relax, while the family pool offered a great atmosphere and, like the adults’ pool, is perfectly positioned right by the beach with fantastic views.
The food was outstanding throughout our stay, but the Sunday Brunch at the Salt Society restaurant deserves a special mention. It was simply exceptional, with an incredible selection of beautifully prepared dishes and a wonderful atmosphere. It is an absolute must if you’re staying at the resort.
What truly makes Centara Reserve stand out, though, is its people. Every member of staff we encountered was warm, professional, and genuinely committed to making our stay as enjoyable as possible. A heartfelt thank you to Peter at Concierge, Few, Jean and Sao at Reception, and Bow, Natty and Wendy in the restaurant. Their friendliness, attention to detail, and willingness to go the extra mile made us feel like valued guests rather than just another room number.
Another standout feature was seeing the General Manager, Neil Li, so visible around the resort every day. He regularly took the time to chat with guests and ensure everyone was enjoying their stay. That level of personal involvement is something you rarely see and speaks volumes about the high standards and guest-focused culture of the resort.
Would we stay anywhere else on Koh Samui? Absolutely not.

One of the best hotels!|oh
We spent ten wonderful nights in this beautiful hotel and enjoyed our stay to the fullest. Our room with direct pool access, which we shared with about eight other rooms, was perfect – especially on the warm evenings throughout to round off the day with a refreshing dip in the water and a drink from the complimentary minibar.
The room was lovingly and stylishly designed. An additional wardrobe or more storage space for clothes would have rounded off the overall picture perfectly. The breakfast buffet was excellent and left nothing to be desired: From Asian specialities to European classics like honeycomb honey to Western favourites like French toast, everything was freshly prepared and of high quality. The offer was complemented by a diverse selection of à la carte dishes.
The pool area with its unique views of palm trees and the sea is undoubtedly the heart of the hotel. The beautiful stretch of beach perfectly completes the bathing possibilities. Of particular note is the extremely friendly and dedicated staff. A special thank you goes to the pool staff Boss, Mike, Mac and Paul, who have convinced not only by their warmth but also by their high commitment. The free chilled water, which is always available, as well as the extensive and reasonably priced menu are also worth mentioning on a positive note.
Just two little criticisms: Due to the very warm temperatures, the pools unfortunately offered hardly any cooling. In addition, we found it a great pity that many loungers with towels and personal belongings of guests were already reserved in the early morning, which then disappeared back into the rooms or for breakfast. The corresponding notice on the board to refrain from doing so was apparently often ignored. Here it would be desirable if the management intervened more clearly and raised the awareness of the guests, so that everyone has the same chance of a free lounger.
All in all, we look back on ten wonderful days and keep this place in good memory. We very much hope that the hotel will be able to maintain its high standard in the future, as the high-quality materials and design furniture certainly require a corresponding amount of care.

A wonderful holiday
wow...everything has been absolutely fantastic, the staff were all amazimg and so helpful , the hotel is beautiful, set in amazing grounds on the beach, the food is wonderfully cooked and presented.
Maybe evening time entertainment could be a little livelier.. its a shame, its a beautiful place however goes really quiet in the evenings.
We can't find any fault with this hotel at all. We will be back for sure and as soon as possible.

Perfect stay at Centara Reserve!
Amazing sea-view rooms, gorgeous coastal scenery and wonderfully thick beach sand. The resort’s two private pools are totally photogenic for holiday snapshots. Special big thanks to Michelle, the Chinese lobby manager! Her service was ultra considerate and detail-minded, covering every single arrangement thoughtfully. The whole team delivers impeccable service. Strongly recommend this resort for island getaways, we will absolutely come back again
