Nằm ở Thongsala, cách Bãi biển Thong Sala 2 phút đi bộ, Phatra Hostel cung cấp chỗ nghỉ có Wi-Fi miễn phí và chỗ đậu xe riêng miễn phí. Chỗ nghỉ cách Phaeng Waterfall khoảng 4.3 km, Đảo Ko Ma 13 km và Tharn Sadet Waterfall 15 km.

Best place to stay in Koh Phangan
Initially I wanted to stay here for 1 week and ended up staying for a total of 3 months because of how welcoming and friendly the staff was.
The photos here are no longer up to date. The hostel equipment is constantly being expanded, e.g. the beds in the dorms now have curtains for more privacy. You can rent Bikes and Cars directly from the hostel. Through Grace, you can even book Ferry and Bus tickets.
I stayed in a shared room as well as in a private room. The beds were very comfortable, and the nights were quiet.

Friendly clean lodging
Safe, location great too.
Communication was excellent.
We stayed in the private room and shower was strong as well!

Great place to stay for one night in ko penghan
1. Security: the hostel owner is always on site and actually sleeps on the floor of the reception desk, she knows everyone at the hostel I felt extremely secure and even left all my wallet and camera gear in the hostel.
2. Comfortable bed and quiet environment, had both of this at the night of the full moon, great sleep.
3. Shower and cleaning: hot water wall day and great water pressure, another great thing about this hostel.
Two downsides:
1. The managers of the hostel are extremely nice basically it's a young guy with 2 old people (maybe his parents?) They don't know English but I managed to communicate with them some how.
2. Ants do exist in this hostel is everything is ground level, saw them in the shower and one on my bed.
Overall paid 25 USD for one night during the full moon for a private double bed room, this place is located 5 minutes walk from the pier and 4 minutes walk from a great place to rent a scooter (turn left and then right when leaving the hostel) Great for people visiting Koh penghan for 1 night!
