Beachside Shack with Sunset views, this is what I came to Thailand for!

Seaside Shack with Sunset Views... Awesome! Come as a human being not a 1st world fusspot! Unspoilt (yes untidy garden - but loved the dogs and goose) friendly landlady (be nice to her and she will be nice back!) Free wifi/fans/huge room/fridge/hot water..... Quiet - birdsong and waves lapping - not partying people! Own balcony a few feet above the ocean, direct beach access...it was paradise!!!!
Set off the main path to Sairee Beach, next to Simple Life Divers, and other bars/restaurants. Landlady runs shop next door. No night time noise, you can walk into main town along the beach and return same way- try not to disturb the huge crab! Undisturbed view of sunset, ocean and rocks.
If you want shiny floors and plastic walls - don't come here. If you expect to be waited on hand and foot - don't come here.
If you want to stay in an enchanted place - and you like wood and your own privacy - and you don't want to pay a fortune - but pay a sensible amount for average fittings - to an actual local lady... then do come here!
In 7 weeks of travel this was our favourite place - get yourself a beer and enjoy!

Shame on you

Stay from 13 to 15 January, only 2 nights luckily! Dirty environment, poorly maintained and with a mouse in the room with excrement everywhere. They didn't help us, they didn't change rooms, they didn't come against us! Absolutely BAD

Cheap and chabby but perfect location

In a way you get what you pay for. The location is nice and very private right above the water with the beach next to it and no traffic from vehicles or people in front. The rooms are kind of shabby but in a way alright if you are used to this standard when backpacking asia. There is a functional toilet and hot water in the shower. I wish the owners could do a littlebit more with cleaning up garbage and so around their property. Small things that could lift the impression. The staff is nice

Simple but ok

We booked a hut by the beach near the piers, a lovely place, but a bit noisy in the mornings due to boat traffic. Beach was cleaned up regularly, not so our hut though. Beds were ok, water pressure low, but warm. Landlords not too friendly, some of our laundry got lost. Swimming in the morning was fabulous, lots of fish to be seen there.

A nightmare

The worst in the world. We have to wait for a check in 2 hours. The room was dirty. The recepsionist is the worst person in the world. She is not nice she dont help us, and we wait for check in in the sun without fan and ac . It is worst dont recomend, escape from this place !!!!!!!!
