Very cheap
Place is very clean and new! There's a pig farm next to it, so you might hear / smell something, but we didn't during our stay. If you are going to this place and you don't know how to explain to the driver / or how to orient, just get out at Tesco Lotus and walk last 1km on your own. Overally very good for the value.

Unhelpful staff and a dirty room where the windows did not open.
We stayed at Sucholtee and booked through booking.com. Once I booked I immediately realised I had booked a day later than we planned to stay, I arrived at the resort 30 minutes after the booking was made and the owner refused to change the booking and proceeded to charge me double for and additional night and plus the charge for the second night through booking.com. The owner was extremely unhelpful. The room was dirty, the windows did not open and it felt trapped. I would not recommend this place. We were lucky as booking provided me with a refund as I book through them regularly and have never once complained or encountered a situation like this. Sucholtee immediately did a no show on booking so that we could not leave a review. Be careful with this place. Also its mosquito heaven!

You came check in wrong day. You booked on the day after you came to hotel that was not our fault at all actually.
According to the policy on Booking.com of our hotel, non-refundable for any booking reservation within one week before check in day, guests can read before making booking reservation.
Flexibility is considered as case by case depending on situation. Remember, no matter what we decide for any cases, if they are still under policy, you should respect. Many times we help guests refund in many cases, who have respect each other.
Consequently, you had no room, when you came. Same room as your wrong booking was not available on your arrival. Therefore, we tried our best to get room for you on this fully-booked day as a walk-in guest that was one room left. It was your choice whether accepted or not. You could check the room first before you pay by cash then if it was not good enough for you, just find other places.
Once again, we said to you that if you were not okay with anything, pleased not to pay us, but why you still confirmed to pay us and stayed in our hotel. One hour later after you got inside, you still sent messeges to us that the room was not okay. So, we asked you to move out with full cash back, but you still stayed.
On check out day, you got in the taxi very quickly because you didn't pay for four drinks(price tag shown) in the freezer you drank and played in the bathtub last night. You were trying to cheat, so we needed to ask taxi driver to stop then asked you to pay.
About "no show", it was right to claim it as no show case on your booking, because you did not come to stay on same room and date as you booked. Ethically, what we deal is in Booking.com website, all things should be done and finished in this booking website only, nowhere else. Even you are not good people, not only we do not blame you to the public (before found your post), but also we always keep all your private stuffs and for all our customers.
Remember, you came and stayed in different type of room and date you booked as your desire. Your review was totally conflicted with your manner while you stayed with us. You and your girlfriend made some noise sound like playing in the bathtub, staffs almost gave you some warning but staffs felt considerate as their common treat, even it was too loud. Mosquitoes or insects could be inside if you left the door open, so we locked windows just because of that, anyway, we had air-con all rooms. You knew on your mind what actually happened. You got angry because you did not respect the rule. Your opinion comes from bias mind related to your own benefit without caring any positive things, that is unrealiable.
Basically, we thank to all our guests who give us some comments either good or bad reviews that are very useful for us so as to improve ourself. But some reviews written to discredit, not to contribute anything to anyone like yours, that is not appropriate.
Most people do not think like you , please read reviews about us from our guests everywhere in the world, what more than 80% of people think about us.
We have your identification. If you do not stop telling distorted-information to the public, we will report this story to your organization, Baan Dek at Chiang Mai in order that they can re-consider about their staff's qualification whether it is suitable to work about helping children or not. Moreover, if you still show your bias comments or discredit us to the public that conflicted with Thai Cyber Law, we will transfer this case to the court and your country.

Beautiful design
stayed here december last year for a family vacation. the design of the resort is so nice.
we had a 2 bedrooms resort which is really pretty with a small and cute living room.
it has indoor bathroom with shower and bath tub and also a super gorgeous outdoor shower.
the woman who takes care of the place is really nice too and super accommodating especially in helping us to get a taxi and tuk tuk to go to the town.
overall, I have no complain but one. the smell from the river at the back is quite bad.
the smell basically ruined the overall feeling of the place a bit.
however, once you're inside the house, you will not smell it anymore.
which is fine, but such a waste especially because our resort has a balcony which is basically left unused because of the smell.

Thailand travel
Nice and clean room for our one night stay. The bathroom was very large and included shampoo, soap etc. The host was very friendly and ensured that a taxi was ready for our further travels. I would recommend it to anyone, especially if you plan to visit by car or scooter.

Transit hotel
Coming from Bangkok, we wanted to find a small hotel for 1 night before our transfert to Koh Samui.
We have choosen this hotel few days before via internet and we were very pleasantly surprised by the welcome firstly on the phone and the physically. The hotel representative picked us up at the airport for a very attractive price (less than a taxi).
The hotel is in a very quiet area, far enough from the noisy roads.
It's not possible to get any meals (even breakfast) but you have the possibility to have tea and/or coffee in the rooms, also equiped of a mini-bar.
You have a nice restaurant 10 minutes walking away.
Take care, the beds are very hard but for 1 night this is not a real problem.
