Relax and warm

Fantastic place, really great team! We found relax, peacefull, kindly people, eco frendly path.
Great cocktails for adults and enjofull place for children and teenager.

Tiki Beach Bungalow

Enjoyed a fantastic stay at Tiki Beach Koh phangan! We had our own private bungalow close to the pool which was delightful. Very comfy bed and very spacious.
The facilities are top, great pool overlooking the beach, you can’t ask for more.
Along with that the staff are very attentive, always on hand to help whether that be reception or at the bar. Along with that the food and drinks from the restaurant are brilliant.
Overall would definitely recommend.

Quel gachis

I ordered a mojito at the Tiki bar.
My mojito was low in alcohol.
I brought it back so he could top it up.
The waiter tried to show off in front of the girls leaning against the bar.
He took the bottle of rum and filled my glass almost to the brim (despite my requests to stop pouring).
With all that rum in my glass, my mojito should have been undrinkable.
SURPRISE, it was still low in alcohol.
I deduced that the rum in the bottle was at least 80 percent water.
It's a scam well known to unscrupulous bartenders; they call it a scheme; I call it stealing.
The placemats are filthy.
The beach poufs are rotten.
The pool shower doesn't work.
There isn't always water, and when there is water, there's no pressure. The hotel is very dirty overall. There's a window in the room, but a plastic curtain that can't be raised blocks the sea view because it's also very dirty. The restaurant is very expensive. In the evening, the techno music doesn't stop until midnight. This is not a hotel I would recommend. Given the price, we were hoping for a higher standard. It's a shame to let this hotel, which could be a little paradise, deteriorate. What a waste!!!

relaxing hostel

My stay at this hostel was pure bliss! The bungalows were cozy and charming, with comfy beds and a tranquil vibe that made every night restful. The staff were incredibly helpful, always ready with a smile and great tips for exploring the area. The beach was stunning—soft sand and clear waves just steps away, perfect for unwinding. The pool was a lovely spot to relax, surrounded by lush greenery and loungers for soaking up the sun. The whole place had a calm, welcoming atmosphere, ideal for recharging. I can recommend this hostel for a peaceful getaway.

Terrible service and scams

I stayed at Tiki Beach Resort expecting a digital nomad-friendly environment, but it was a huge disappointment. They advertise as being great for remote workers, yet the standard rooms have no desk or chair—essentially forcing you to pay extra for a larger bungalow if you want a proper workspace.
Worse, the scooter rental company they work with operates dishonestly. They take your passport as a deposit, which is illegal in Thailand. The contract is written only in Thai, and they deliberately hide extra fees from non-Thai speakers. For example, if you don’t return the scooter by a certain time, they charge an extra 200 baht, but they don’t tell you this in English—it’s only mentioned in Thai when you sign. This is a clear scam designed to trick tourists.
Overall, Tiki Beach Resort feels misleading and unprofessional. If you’re a digital nomad or just looking for an honest place to stay, I’d strongly recommend going elsewhere.
