Amazing villa with the best staff och view you can ask for.
Stayed in apartment 2 with direct access to the pool - perfect when travelling with kids. The view is to die for - and the pool area was so relaxing.
Wonderful staff, so helpful with everything we asked for. We though it was going to be hard with the hill, to walk to the beach with kids. But it's really fast. Only like 5 min walk. Not a problem at all. But I do recommed renting a vespa so you can easy discover the island.
I have no complains what so ever Wonderful place and we will absolutly come back.

Expensive But beautiful view
My family of 8 stayed here from July 27- Aug. 2, 2019 in the Penthouse family apartment.
3 large bedrooms, 1 large livingroom, 3 bathrooms and 1 shared kitchen.
The view over the ocean, the Hills and Nature itself was stunning.
The apartment was very secluded and peaceful.
The owner contacted me 3 weeks before arriving koh Tao and told me that they had free pick up service by the pier.
Fantastic I thought! He told me to go to the laundry shop by 7/11 and wait for pick up.
We went to the meeting point after our 3 hours of sailing and arriving koh Tao.
No body was there, but after 20 minutes of walking around with my bags a lady told me that the somebody was waiting for us at the pier????
Downsides:
It is impossible to get supplies like food, water and such if you don’t rent a motorbike.
Me and my husband didn’t like to ride motorbike in such curvy area with hills going up 80 degrees.
I saw some Farang people riding 2 people on their bike and they both fell off and injuried themselves.
On this Island you can not rent a car!
Only motorbikes is for rent.
As we stayed here for like 1 week with 4 children it was a challenge everyday to plan for food and how to get it.
It took at least 15-20 min to walk from the house to the pier/ city and in such heat like in Aug. 35 degrees Celsius and a enormous humidity we sweat like pigs when we arrived city after walking down the extreme hills of Koh Tao.
Sorry to say, but all the previous reviews on this mansion must be related to the owners of the house.
On arriving day the housekeeper informed us that we had to pay extra for electricity and water use???
For us 8 people we used for like 1000 bath extra a day!
I wasn’t informed prior for this extra expense. When I checked my booking it was written with very small letters on one of my booking papers.
Everyday when we stayed in the apartment the housekeepers walked around the apartment like they stayed with us?
Many times when I was cooking something in the kitchen suddenly without notice the housekeeper was standing next to me.
We all think it was wired that there was no reception, so if you needed to contact somebody in the mansion you must call their names or look under the house where they sometimes was laying for a rest.
Overall this place is stunning beautifull but you need to be very very fit to stay here and definitely not suited for small children.

Great location, fantastic view and friendly staff
VGS is located 5 min walk away from the town around the pier, which is just enough to make it feel a bit secluded and quiet, which was important for us. We stayed in the penthouse / "paradvåningen" which was spacious and the three sliding doors towards the big balcony gave good light and fresh air. The view over the bay and hills is just amazing and access to two pools just outside was very popular with our two small kids.
The cleaning was excellent and Jai (part of the staff) would bring excellent fruit shakes to the door at any time for 50 bath, whic we really appreciated.
If we return to Koh Tao on a family trip we will definitly stay at VGS!

Lovely Villa with brilliant views.
My family and I had a fantastic stay at this villa. As people have said it is up a steep hill, but unless you are staying right in town then I think most will be up some sort of hill. The villa itself is lovely, big and airy with lots of space. There was a fully equipped kitchen (didn't use it) with a water dispenser which stopped us having to buy lots of plastic bottles, which is much better for the environment.
The view from the pool was fantastic, looking out over the sea to Koh Nang Yuan.
The villa is also only a short walk from Sai Nuan beach and about a 30 min walk from Aow Leuk bay.
Whilst we were staying there was an issue with the electricity which meant we went for a night without air con, as soon as Ellu found out she set about getting it fixed. Kitty managed to fix the electricity and there were no more issues. Mrs Yai was there to ensure we had everything we needed and to sort out our washing at a very good price. If we go back to Koh Tao again we would definitely book here again.

The best resort on the island!
Great management, the most beautiful and kind personal, marvellous pool area and THE WIEW!! This is the place to wake up any or perhaps every morning. Situated at perfect distans from main streets and the harbor makes it even better.
