Perfect location for exploring the region on a scooter every day!

Great stay there, very comfortable hotel, great swimming pool, it's not perfect but the staff will do everything to satisfy you, from the rental of the scooter to the washing machine. The hotel restaurant serves delicious dishes at very low prices. Thank you for everything .

They call that a palace???

They call that a palace??? Honestly? The hotel is right on the busy main road of Khao Lak, far from the centre if you don't have a scooter and with no shops around. With no scooter, you're basically stuck there, and going to the beach on foot will take you 30 minutes. The old lady at the front desk is so unfriendly and doesn't speak English. She must be the one everybody is mentioning in their comments. Is she the owner? I don't know, but she doesn't have her place there! All standard rooms are in one building on two floors with rooms with no charm; it's very basic and dark with only two small windows. No sun on that side in the morning. They have what looks like nice bungalows from the outside around the pool, but I doubt it's much better inside. The pool is decent, but they have zero sense of comfort. Seven hard wooden chairs are spread untidily around the pool. Nothing is inviting. The "breakfast room" is on the main road. Again, zero charm and comfort. Save your time and money and stay somewhere else!

ABSOLUTELY RUNNING AWAY, THERE'S NO WORSE

Run, absolutely avoid.
Dishonest, room, incompetent....
Toilet blocked throughout the stay and impossible to involve anyone.
Ignorant breakfast
Very unpleasant staff, unworthy of Thailand.
Non-refund of the deposit.
Dirty swimming pool without sunbed
I go on and on and on

Terrifying!!!

The hotel is completely abandoned to itself
the restaurant does not exist
the wi fi not even
not communicating because they do not speak English
at reception I met only customers who had problems to solve and not having staff and being completely in the hands of a lady always present rude and businesslike you can not have solutions
we book on booking
we pay
assigns us a room that define hovel is little
we ask for the upgrade
and I leave you the photos about it
we add 1000 bath wanted 1200 doing a calculation of his own that betrayed the request per night of the room

In the evening at 2130 with a small child sleeping knocks malamemte in the room because he wanted money
the pool is dated with 5 deck chairs and zero umbrellas

Quite Homely

A nice experience, very good value. The small bungalow cabins in particular were authentic, quaint and comfortable. Service was good, especially help with organising trips. The pool was nice and markets and small restaurants were close by.
