Title: A Truly Restorative Stay in the Mountains
I absolutely loved my four-night stay at Insda Wellness Resort. My family recently moved to Chiang Mai, and I already know that whenever I visit them, I’ll be staying here again.
The property is beautiful and tucked away in the mountains, surrounded by incredible greenery and wilderness. It’s easy to get to by car, right off the main road, and about 25–30 minutes from the main shopping and restaurant areas of Chiang Mai. I had a rental car, which I’d definitely recommend for staying in this area.
What really made the experience special was how warm and welcoming everyone was. It has a very family-run, homey feeling, and the hospitality was wonderful. My room was beautiful and looked out over the mountains, with a lovely private porch. I spent my mornings just sitting outside, taking in the view and listening to the birds and insects. As someone who lives in New York City, it was about as far removed from my everyday environment as you could possibly get—and exactly what I needed.
There’s also a daily 6 a.m. wake-up ritual led by the property manager. I am *not* a morning person, so I almost skipped it, but I decided to experience it on my last morning. I’m so glad I did. It was peaceful, grounding, and one of the highlights of my stay.
I also had a massage, which was lovely, and I was able to book it through their newly launched website. I didn’t get to try the restaurant because it was closed during my visit, but the room had a refrigerator, so bringing along snacks was easy.
Overall, Insda felt less like a typical resort and more like a peaceful retreat—a place where you can genuinely slow down and reconnect with yourself. Beautiful surroundings, incredibly kind hospitality, and a wonderfully restorative atmosphere. I’m already looking forward to coming back.

Lovely place.
Spent 3 days there. Lovely setting, friendly staff, clean room, good food, nice spa, refreshing pool. Will have fond memories of Insda for a long time.

Excellent address
Very nice place run by a welcoming and professional family. The rooms are beautiful. The beautiful setting. And the Welcoming particularly attentive and kind. The meals are excellent. A great experience.
The place also offers accompaniment in meditation and holistic medicine practices which may be the reason why booking in this resort.
If the opportunity arises, we will return.
